X rays security for Punta Arenas airport
Punta Arenas airport will be equipped next year with a sophisticated X rays system to check luggage and passengers, or anything introduced to aircrafts “making it one of the safest air terminals in the country” and ensuring “our position as the gateway for scientific and tourist flights to Antarctica”.
Brazil in recession.
The Brazilian economy has technically fallen into recession alter two consecutive quarters of negative growth according to the latest release from the Brazilian Geography and Statistics Institute, IBGE.
Argentina and IMF closer to an agreement
With the return to Buenos Aires this Thursday of the IMF permanent representative in Argentina John Dodsworth and the advance in Congress of legislation requested by the multilateral credit organization, both sides seem closer to reaching a medium term agreement.
