Gibraltar is participating this week at the World Travel Market (WTM) at the ExCel exhibition centre in London. For the first time Gibraltar’s stand will be located in the United Kingdom & Ireland hall of the event.

The UK is Gibraltar’s largest market for overnight tourism and this setting will help promote Gibraltar’s advantages as a sterling currency area for visitors. Representatives from the Gibraltar Tourist Board in London will manage Gibraltar’s stand.

Attending the World Travel Market as co-exhibitors are representatives of Gibraltar’s tourism industry, who have once again welcomed the opportunity to market their products and services at one of the most important global tourism events.

The Rock’s Minister for the Environment & Tourism Ernest Britto, will be visiting the event and will attend a tourism Ministers summit organised by the UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organisation), reports the Gibraltar Chronicle.

it is said that tourism is an industry with a bright future in Malvinas, so, why don´t they have an stand in this event??

now I understand why people in Malvinas kick out Summers & co.

Argentina has a huge presence in this world travel market, it´s a pity that Malvinas doesn´t attend to the party.
