Kirchner administration is “made out of words and scandals” like a soap opera

Former Argentine president Eduardo Duhalde compared President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner's administration with “soap operas and afternoon TV shows,” making a strong reference to celebrities' disputes in order to gain TV air and their resemblance with politicians.

He went deeper with his ideas and described Fernández de Kirchner as a “historic mistake.”

Duhalde said that the government is “made out of words.” “Everything is virtual: this government has a full incapacity to administrate: it is full of scandal, which brings about money and power addiction,” the former president expressed.

He used several examples to build up his criticism. Duhalde said that the government is facing two important “State powers: the Church and the farming sector.” The official expressed that the “impossibility to govern is obvious.”

Later on, Duhalde devoted himself to harshly criticize Mrs. Cristina Kirchner and said that she is “a historic mistake, and the country is to pay an expensive price for it.”

He explained that, according to his view, the Head of State is “not ready to make any decisions,” and accused her of “not having time to administrate the country for she prepares two or three speeches a day, a task she already did back when she filled a position in the Senate.”

The now ready to be in the Argentine presidential race lawmaker said that the Kirchner “will do wrong” in the next parliamentary elections.

He summed up: “The government is handling money as if it was all theirs, but the truth is that the money they are managing belongs to the provinces”.

these are the same conservative forces that attack yrigoyen in 1930, peron in 1955 and 1976, the same 90´s forces. the same forces that operated from montevideo while rosas was fighting in obligado.
The same forces that always attack popular movements in favour of corporative and foreing interest.
Dont worry Billy, this is the beginning of “waking up” for everyone here. Never before have so many people begun to consciously question government and political party. What do you expect from a population unacustomed to democratic processes of government? We all know how corrupt and birdbrained they are, you can read this from countless comments throughout the blogosphere. What alternatives have we got though??? There is no common sense and there is no common sense! who the hell do you vote for??? Bird brain or plastic face?
