Now there's a coincidence ........ Argentina's claim to the islands is also powered by wind :-)

LOL - plus a load of hot air. Which, as we know from school, rises and therefore goes up and away from the islands. In short, Argentina's hot air claims have no effect upon the islands;-)

Being barren and windswept has finally been turned into an advantage.

Christine and the Duracell Bunny will be complaining about you stealing their wind next.

And day by day the Islands get cheaper and cheaper and rely more and more upon themselves.

Such progression, how far has Argentina progressed in the same period?

My compliments to the Falklanders. I know Falkland Islands usually is a windy place, and now they produce more and more eletric energy through windmills. Very economic and a clean method to produce electric power (almost no pollution and no use of oil/coal/petrol etc).
Simultaneously it is in accordance with their admireable efforts to protect nature and environment.
#6 ..Jorge!!! I think you are wrong ..“ Falkland Fred,Hoytred and Christine who appears in this video will not ”defend“ properly the islands”
If you remember 1982, you ought to know, the above mentioned persons , have a fair chance to do it. However we live in XXI century. Has imperialism and colonisation not stopped long time ago. Only uncivilised nations ruled by dictators could have such intentions

Well Jorgey boy why aren't the legions of Argentine heroes coming over the waters and invading then?

It quite funny when parrots like yourself have to seize upon every scrap of bread to condemn of demean the falklands in some manner.......pathetic, you can always tell the flaw in someones mind when they have to go searching on youtube to prove a point....

out of curiosity Jorge what did you type in the search to find that video...... Trans-sexual semi-naked British soldiers wearing G-strings?

LOL. No Bob, just the word “falklands” and “army”.

9# Jorge.... As usual you are right!”we couldn`t invade our own terre(i)tory.” Indeed you are right! It is more easy to invade the territory of the Mapuches ,and what a glory! And the Mapuches don`t claim to get their homeland back fom you. They dare not, because they know what the consequence would be.... Do you still pay a bounty for a pair of Mapuche-ears????

Oh Jorgey boy I asked you a question what did you type into that search engine to locate said video, I think the answer might hint at your other sexual fetishes, besides liking a good spanking from your mum aged 27.

And Jorge it isn't your own territory, to own territory you must have effective control, you have neither, you cannot legislate over the Falklands, you have to present your passport at immigration when you go to the Falklands, you have to abide by Falklands law when you go to the Flaklands......oh dear Jorge your so delusional inside your insular little cage, I fear if I let you out, It might destroy your fragile mind, which is so dependent on your spoon fed lies that when they are challenged you must squawk louder and louder to drown out the doubt which our arguements have started to stimulate in your pathetically mono thinking brain!

it's only your territory in your mind, a massive artificial construct, the Malvinas only exist on paper and in the internet for the Argentine people, or at least those who have yet to free their minds and think independently of the great myth.

Now the Falklands though.......it's real to the Islanders, they legislate they govern, and they govern over internationally recognized boundaries, boundaries which Argentines never cross for some reason, now why is that, perhaps tacit recognition that they do not belong, why do they need to go through the relevant passport control?

But anyway Jorge, if it was your own territory why does your government feel compelled to demand every ship asks for permission to go to your own territory?

Oh dear Jorge, the parrot cage is locked tighter than I could ever imagine?

    - LOL. Put “army” and “falklands”. That's the answer. If you don't know hot to search videos on youtube, you should ask for your grandchildren to help you.

You are angry old man. Relax!!!!!! :-)

Zero, Zero Zero, (#11) it doesn't really look so good if you're directing derogatory comments about what appear to be amazing achievements for your country at your own community members now does it?! Pull out the chip from your shoulder and the finger from your wotsit and maybe you too could make a difference!

Hoytred, Rhaurie-Craughwell and others. Please stop the nonsense. The war's over. Try to live in peace. Don't rub our wrong places. Be fair. This is not the place for abuse. Argentines, same considerations. Thanks.

Argie have you ever seen the full extent of Agent Parrots remarks? I doubt you have this is the tip of the iceberg, he's been doing this for over 2 years, I've been doing it less than 2 months and already I can see he is a nutcase,

bloody good acting if you ask me, HM queen will be pleased that these opinions come from actual Argentines.

Rhaurie-Craughwell (#20). I know son. I am an 'actual'8-generation Argentine. I've been around these Mercopress blogs for a couple of years and some 12 or 13 on the 'Falkland-Malvinas' site, where I found a few of these buggers. This kind of parrot - as opposed to the feathered variety - has an implanted pretaped chip which they unroll no matter what the issue under consideration may be, thus ruining the likelihood of others to entertain a fair discussion.

I hold no intention of patronising, but would suggest not to engage in answering, or even telling to come off it, because that would be playing their games. When I lived, studied and worked in England (mainly in London & Painswick, Glos) I learned, among other characteristics of Englishness, about the immense value of a good cold-shoulder treatment.

Now, how's the weather there? Here, around 6 am, sunny & a bit cold (6ºC); now, near noon, improving...

    Cheers!
