No wait don't go, wait come back, I promise after you find more oil or gas I won't nationalize it again. What a frigging retard. All of these “Bolivarian” Socialists are as dumb as a box of rocks. I don't understand why Latin Americans keep electing people that ruin their countries. They never learn.

Fred, do ALL Latin Americans vote for people like Evo Morales?
Does Evo Morales represent all Latin Americans?
Since when is the word “Latin American” a nationality?
When are you going act like a professional commentator here?

“Latins” have been voting for those presidents because the ones they had voted for in the 90s - Menem, Carlos Peres, FHC, all right wing presidents - had thrown their countries in a path of low growth and high unemployment. They started voting for left-wing presidents in response to that. When dissatisfied with a government, a population always votes to opposition parties - something your countrymen do too, Fred. Americans voted for a leftist presidential candidate in 2008 because they were not satisfied with the right-wing guy in power. Then they turned against the left-wing guy and voted for right wing lawmakers in November 2010. Anyway, you might not like the presidents LatAm have been putting in power recently, but in meeting their constituents' needs, they have been superior to the 90s presidents. And there's also this: the country that has most developed the last 20 years - Chile - is the one that has more consistenly voted for the Left througout those years.

Forget, Don't bother trying to elicit a response from me. You are a too young for me to bother with. As I said before your posts have an extreme left slant with a bias towards the USA and are meaningless to me. Grow up try to leave your favela and maybe someday we can chat after you learn to speak like an adult.

What an easy, narrow-minded way to respond to facts and reason. I'm not surprised, though. As one Japanese politician said recently: “I like Americans, but they are somewhat monocellular.”

Why in the world would I try to debate a left leaning, anti American, child who thinks he is worldly and smart but has never traveled out of his country? It is a waste of both of our efforts.
Maybe you should visit a place before you criticize it based on the liberal/Socialist/Ivory towered articles you read.
You think you are smart but I know you exactly what you are and can't be bothered. We have a lot of your type in DC, I know it very well. You have no idea how your smug attitude is just dumb and boring coming from someone so young and un-sophisticated. You suffer from being young but hopefully you will grow out of it when you finally leave your parents house and have to fend for yourself.
