If only Argentina was interested in peace and stability, rather than greed and possessiveness, she could well have [and still can] enjoy the wealth of what is to come, but may I predict, that when they finally grow up and leave the Falklands in peace, they will crawl [sorry] ask to share in this possible vast wealth, and then we can all get on with our lives and live in peace ,

Of course, they are the only ones with the expertise to turn oil into water in a few days.

Sorry!! It is not the wealth of the islands, we want the Malvinas Islands go back to the original owners, the Argentine, which were taken by pirates in 1833. The few riches are leading the Pirates to the fantastic Uk, understand that!!!!. Briton. Not the president, please! it is all the Argentines want the Malvinas Islands back to the original owners and not a few population implanted by the Brits themselves. Please open your mind!!

Marcos - you once again show how you are the dimwit of the Mercopress forums. When was FOGL spelt DES?

Kiwi - find me someone from 1833 who was wronged and I will start to listen. The world watched your attempt to take the Islanders' homes away from them. The world also watched while you were taught a lesson.

Implanted population? That is about 95% of South America then!

“In 1833 coordinated offensives by Juan Manuel de Rosas in Buenos Aires Province and other military leaders in the Cuyo region attempted to exterminate resistant tribes, but only Rosas had any success.”

    But by 1878
“Our self-respect as a virile people obliges us to put down as soon as possible, by reason or by force, this handful of savages who destroy our wealth and prevent us from definitely occupying, in the name of law, progress and our own security, the richest and most fertile lands of the Republic.
    —Julio Argentino Roca,”

    Seems Argentines never change.

Marcos - apart from being different companies with different licences with different BoDs etc etc. Then yes they are both oil explorers listed on AIM! Like loads of others XEL, NTOG etc etc. You are a right thicko at times arn't you.

No plans to see the oil but I guess we have found the oil-water contact that gives us more information on the oil migration to sea lion in RKH licence. Now I plan on making loads of money when that starts to get sold and the beauty is that we don't need Argentina to go ahead with production.

    Interesting times ahead!

WOW your right I have opened my mind, And guess what, the truth has just hit me,
1, Argentina does not own the Falklands
2, Argentina has NEVER owned the Falklands,
3, the Malvinas don’t exist outside argies education,
4, Argentina did not exist in 1833 [or am i wrong]
5 you cannot own something before you even exist,
6, please open up your mind and get the facts correct please

I think our little (Us of) Tara doesn't really read English well and obviously uses google translate for his/her posts. I doubt he/she really understand very much of what goes on here.

    Yet another PONZY SCHEME.
Malvinas issues need a lot of reading, no wonder UK subjects can't get a grip of relity, the real problem is short attention span.

“The British Geological Survey announced a 200-mile oil exploration zone around the islands in 1993, and early seismic surveys suggest substantial reserves capable of producing 500,000 barrels per day; to date no exploitable site has ever been identified.”
    o one last thing.
