Ultimately, after all the pretty talk, the waving of credentials in Economics, the attendance at whatever taxpayer-funded symposium or conference, all undertaken by those well-heeled and overpaid (compared to the private sector) politicians, public sector employees or princes of whatever Academic, NGO or de facto Governmental Institutionalized Manipulator (like the IMF), the reality will repain that every nation will do whatever it can in its own enlightened self interest without regard to what effect it may have on the other side of the globe, nor indeed what is necessary for the greatest benefit to the greatest number within that nation. Ultimately, we are headed again for the traditional, ceremonial 'every dog hor himself' process in which a few will be left standing and many, many will fall.

Today's Rich will do fine. The Middle Class will, as always, we 'squeezed' ... if not 'crushed', and The Poor?

Well, unfortunately, as always, The Poor will be 'rendered' to provide the necessary lubrication for the machine that keeps 'The Rich' in the driver's seat with their sendibilities and assets intact so that they can orchestrate the Middle Class and render The Poor.

That IS the way it will be, again, no matter what politician says whatever they have to say.
