Peruvian presidential candidate Keiko Fujimori rejected Mario Vargas Llosa’s remarks who said once again that choosing between Ollanta Humala and her, was like choosing between cancer and terminal Aids, and said that the Nobel Prize winner’s comments are “useless”.
“I know he doesn’t like me, but I am interested in having the people’s support, not his. Welcome to the campaign Mr Vargas Llosa, I am not afraid of you. My father beat you in 1990 and I will beat you in 2011” she said.
Keiko assured she is confident in the “hidden votes” (silent majority) supporting her candidacy in order to make it to the second round of Peru’s presidential elections, reported El Comercio.
The candidate for Fuerza 2011 explained that the “fear” generated by an alleged campaign against her, triggered by political opponents, is because her supporters express publicly that they will vote for her.
Inspired by her father, ex-president Alberto Fujimori, who is prison serving a 25 year sentence for crimes against human rights and corruption Keiko said she will continue to work as if she were last in the polls “humbly and with no arrogance

Answer, Spain is the next Lehman Brother, and we all know what happened with that.
It's not Vargas Llosa you have to watch - it's the newspaper headlines generated by Pedro Camacho.
Apr 05th, 2011 - 01:05 am 0He's out there . . . and when he gets you in his sights - watch out!
All I can say further is - thank God Humala and Keiko are not Argentinians - for whom Camacho reserves his real invective.
