Those numbers are right but they are half the truth.

In 2010 a landbased tourist in Malvinas spend 150-180pounds per day; vs. a cruise visitor who spend 50-70 pounds per day.

In 2010 the number of landbased turists remained virtually unchanged; but cruise visitors decrease between 20-30%. Because of that per capita tourist average spend show a significant increase; but overall turist spenditure show a significant drop, drop that Mr.Trowell whith his funny numbers is hidding.

    Liberation Day?
Argentinians being liberated from Argentinians? Or
    Argentinians being liberates from Spaniards?

No, TFI being liberated from the Argentinians

And please don't feel you have to measure your life by GDP, or any other classic measurement od 'Development'.
There is much to be said for paring away the trappings of a 'consumer society', and living lives in harmony with one's environment.
The older I get, the more I appreciate these things.

Wipe out the colonial dogs! We must clear the colonial out of Los Malvinas like we cleared American Indians out of Argentina. Death to communist in the Argentine for destroying our country!
