Cono Sur is partly offers the best value for money wine I know here in Germany. It's ridicuclously inexpensive (5-6 Euros a bottle) and easily a match in quality for french bordeaux priced arround 15 to 18 Euros.

Elaine, a little hint: my favourites are the Carmenere and CS wines for the Colchagua Valley, especially from "Casa Lapostolle" (but too expensive), "De Martino" and "Luis Felipe Edwards" (last 2 you get lovely wines for under 10 Euros).
Don't miss the last 2! ;)

Cheers
