Good news, as I'm hoping he'll be very effective in persuading the Brasilians to backtrack on their support for the Argentine maritime blockade of the Falklands. I'm sure the Brasilians really know that it doesn't make sense to act like that. Peace and love.

No,but it will be interesting to see how much respect is shown to Brasil and therefore how much credence is given to south América as a new área in the balance of power.A small move will be a significant encouagement.

There is a distinct aroma of panic in the air - Hague was scheduled for Washington and Brussels to discuss Iran and the European embargo on Iran so why suddenly divert to talk about nothing with Brazil?

Brazil should take advantage and get plenty of juice to this visit, as UK must begin again to collect friends and gain influence in the region-Look how with Chile increased its cooperation, signing agreements with Asmara naval
It is okay to continue on this tour Hague snake oil selling and delivering more and more deals to make wills,
If you break the block, which cost the British-

If they touch the Falklands on the agenda will surely detract imortancia and say that the problem is us, D, poor islanders are innocent people, the Colli Icterichia novovirus and Argentina and is only likely if not for the good Malbec, we cast a nuke to wipe, as predicted in this forum some participants and islanders-

    Regards

Yes, could be some panic. I think he is really keen to defuse the Brasil aspect over the growing Falklands problem.

It is not panic, Brazil doesn´t want UK near to anything in SA. As rival, just this. And UK with many problems wants to earn money in Breazil, so funny. UK doesn´t want to recognise that this kind of strategies (as Falklands) loses more money that to accept go out of Falklands.

Why is it, that only the dimwit Argies that always sees the bad things, and anti British, because they think the world is pro argentine,
But what ever happens in brazil, you guys will always believe what you believe,, regardless of the truth .

Our man will go for talks, and other private things, to advance for the average argie bloggers,
If the Brazilians truly hates the British, and fully backed the argentine loony bin, then our man will be told to leave, , and humiliatingly be escorted out of brazil and told to sod off, [would that suit you]
But on the other hand, he will spend two days dealing with items that are of interest to both countries, brazil will listen and respond as all civilised countries do, then after two days he will leave, , and argentine will never know, or ever cotton on, that they are no longer of any consequences
On the world stage anymore, and are irrelevant, and whilst the Brazilian leader will shake his hand in full view of the worlds press, Argentina will be sulking in the corner of the room spitting out obscenities and claiming victory, ,
Whether you guys like it or not, brazil is the emerging power on the bloc, and sadly Argentina no longer figures in the equations,
Sad very sad,, [but true ]

Argentina's behaviour over the Falkland Islands was raised again today at PMQs.

“Conservative Andrew Rosindell demands Mr Cameron confront Argentina over recent comments on the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands. The prime minister says the islands' future is down to the islanders - he says what the Argentinians have said is ”far more like colonialism“ than anything the UK has done.”

Cameron went on to say the UK will fully defend the Falklands and the Islander's right to determine their own future.

    1. I would LOVE if you could explain this new world order to me? You know, in the Northern Hemisphere we don't see any change.
I think it is HILARIOUS how the #27 richest country in the world thinks they have influence with anyone! Plus the economies of all of South America combined barely exceed Germany! Where is this NEW WORLD ORDER going to come from?
O'g England has been a world power 300+/- years before Argentina's or Brazil's existence. You think 10-15 years is going to change the WORLD ORDER! What a ridiculous statement. Your stupidity is ASTOUNDING!

North hemisphere is other world. South America, Sententrional Africa, China, Índia and Rússia is other world too. The “western influence” in South América is down, no exist, except for Portugal and Spain. This is true. Companies from North Europe have many dificults in stablished in South América. They dont know the entrance door or exit window. So, UK try rescue ancients values than no more exist.

Dear O gara, influence from UK in Brazil is very small. Brazil support Argentina because it is our great friend and partnership in South América. Cameron, i believe, want to do to England and to stay in Falklands no is the better thing to “economic grow” with SAmerica. Our countries are very close and very friends. Our intra-trade is big. Falklands is a “stone” in the UK foot.

The question is how big is Argentina's influence in Brazil. Whether Brazil (Also Chile and Uruaguay) will support any stronger action against the Islanders.
    Especialy if drilling goes ahead.

The visit to Brasil coincides with Camerón calling Argentina colonial.that tells you the Uk knows it is having problems.
The support is with Argentina and they want Brasil to help them with this problem and their growth crisis.

Rhetoric and rubbish aside my friend, the question still stands:

”How big is Argentina's influence in Brazil. Whether Brazil (Also Chile and Uruaguay) will support any stronger action against the Islanders.
    Especialy if drilling goes ahead.”

If they won't then what are you going to do?
