Dutch scientists have used stem cells to create strips of muscle tissue with the aim of producing the first lab-grown hamburger later this year. The aim of the research is to develop a more efficient way of producing meat than rearing animals. Read full article

    I work in the food industry and I hate to see this!

    The only future a “product” like this has is that it will be controlled by massive corporations just like Genetically Modified substances!

    I think I will stick to growing my own veg and keeping chickens! Makes the 'Good Life' look better than ever.
