Don't we already know their state policy? They're going to continue the economic blockade, whinge to anyone who will listen, maybe shut down the LAN flight and make themselves look like imbeciles at the UN.

Do they need to make a statement about this, when it's already common knowledge?

Even if they choose to invade again, it's still predictable as a japanese car.

    it wants to promote peace,
    mmmmm
Argentina should be ashamed of herself, declaring peace in one hand, and intimidation in the other hand,
Well she can whine until the cows come home, she can promise you the moon,
But all you will get is delays and promises,, promises and delays,
the world is not interested, the world don’t care, and her own people, will care less and less, as her promises fade into history, just like her mind,
    .

Let me guess what will happen. CFK will say “the Falklands are Argentine forever and this fact can never ever ever never ever be negotiated full stop cross my heart and hope to be spanked until my bottom goes purple.” She will then say I am going to complain to the UN to force Britain to hold negotiations.

@2,3 I think she'll do all the above. She's really a terrible orator so it's just going to be painful for anyone to watch, unless you're an Argfag and then you'll love it.

She's going to make peaceful bullying, political dullardism and antagonising the falklanders a state policy.

I hope they have a plan, because it appears they're going backwards.

Oh how nice, a ten point policy. let me guess

    1. the islanders are subhuman kelpers with zero basic human rights of self determination, habitation, land, resources, or even their homes and must either utterly surrender and be subjugated, or be “removed” like so many other enemies of argentina's expansionism

    2. the islanders must be stated to be “implanted” due to their history of peaceful migration from other parts of the world over the past 200 years in order to differentiate them from argentines who “settled” argentina by mass slaughter, annexation and ethnic cleansing

    3. argentina, despite being entirely constructed of land stolen from native inhabitants and which committed mass land thefts, genocides and settling of white immigrants in order to hold onto this land, is in reality a “victim” of colonialism.

    4. continue to demand that the islanders be punished for existing in land argentina tried and failed to claim 200 years ago, and demand this be seen as the biggest atrocity in argentine history as opposed to the butchery of the natives and the silent extermination of the black argentine population

    5. continue to demand the islanders be treated as subhuman for reasons which would apply infinitely more to argentines

    6. When asked for the historical documents needed to prove it's claim on history, refer back to propaganda while screaming ever shriller about being the victim

    7. NEVER mention the ICJ

    8. scream like a bitch and cry for pity whenever a soldier scratches his back in the Falklands

    9. beg sean penn to replace timmerman

    10. accuse the islanders of being “bullies” for not liking argentina

    10 point policy.
    1. State the ICJ is biased and represented by the pirates so we can't go there, while at the same time tell their people that the C24, the UN and 99.9% of the world supports our struggle against the pirates.
    2. The Islanders are implanted by pirates who are from a colonial empire.
    3. We Argentines are the indigenous people of this part of south America.
    4. Our land was stolen from us by pirates.
    5. The Falklands can never ever be negotiated. Use the M word a lot.
    6. We appeal to the pirates to start negotiations.
    7. Self determination doesn't apply when it involves a Spanish speaking country trying to colonise some land. However in the case of Ceuta and Melilla it does.
    8. The islanders are implanted kelpers who are forced to live there by the pirates.
    9. When asked for historical documents scream some shit about “how can you have a territory 14000kms away”.
    10. When asked the basis of claims to South Georgia and South Sandwich islands quickly change the subject referring to those colonial pirates whilst name dropping mates like Chavez.

I posted the below in another column, but would like to suggest that the below concept party get some delegates and start pushing the current botox party of argentina for independance! I suggest STIPOAP should push for open dialogue in relaciming their lands and creating their own independant state or states. Of course with terms not open for negotiation!

SUPPORT THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF ARGENTINA PARTY
(we could call it STIPOAP which i thinks got a good ring to it!)

    Manifesto:
Reclaim the country that is rightfully theirs
I call on all, Mapuche, Kolla, Toba, Guaraní, Wichi, Diaguita-Calchaquí , Mocoví , Huarpe, Comechingón, Tehuelche, Quechua, Charrúa, Pilagá, Chané, Chorote, and the Selknam (Ona) people (who are now virtually extinct in their pure form) to get the ball rolling.

Get rid of (in Jorges words) hispanic squatters.

“US CONGRESSMAN IN FALKLANDS FACT-FINDING VISIT”

“Congressman Sensenbrenner feels that if the Governor comes to the United States that he has to make the point that he is NOT a colonial Governor”
Penguin News asked if the Image of the Falkland Islands would be clearer if we didnt have a Governor but just a diplomat?

“Well, he is a diplomat, was the reply. I hope he would be judged outside the Falklands not on his title but on what he does”

Yes please don't judge HE the Governor, Mr Nigel Haywood for his colonial title but on what he does, according to their own Government site:“he is the representative of HM the Queen in the Islands” :-))))))

Marcos - Why do you think he was visiting. Could it be a fact finding trip in advance of a US oil major farming-in to bring Sea-Lion into production :-)

The world doesn't care a jot about your poxy claims as evidenced by Tithead's public humiliation at the UN.

    You lose again :-)

@6,7 I'd agree that they created some hypcoritical veiled nonsense about South Georgia and South Sandwhich isles being based on geography, and forget that their attempts to colonise most of Antarctica goes against the rest of the 'show'.

Argentinians really are very good at tying their shoes together and then going for a quick run.

Marcos - he was simply stating a fact. Kind of like saying your dear leader is a few steps short of a tango. Anyway it must be difficult for you to accept that you are being given the cold shoulder.

Right, i am off to exchange some £ for my upcoming trip. Good job i am not trying to swap my Argie pesos for something more useful.

Idle - Penn was attempting to look intelligent and made a complete muppet of himself. He should stick to writing about the mechanics of wife beating. He is certainly an expert on this subject. I hear an Argie University may even give him an Honoury Doctorate in the subject.

@18 Bet there'll be a message from CFK saying that she went up the Andes and God spoke to her saying “Las Malvinas son argentinas”. Then we'll all know it's a con. Because God is English!

I assume all these politicians will be getting paid extra for “working” on a Saturday and being so far from home. That'll be good for the people!

@19 At least Harry Hill would be original and fun; the relentless stream of microphone defacations by Kircho are nothing of the above.

@21 I doubt they get paid in pesos, probably in dollars.

@18 The surprise for her is no one actually or technically cares about her 10 attempts at redirecting attention away from impending economic ruin.

here you go, from the BA Herald..
'Lawmakers ratify Malvinas sovereignty in Ushuaia session

Legislators from all political parties put forward a multi-partisan declaration today ratifying Argentina’s claims for the sovereignty over the Malvinas islands, which will be approved by both chambers in Congress in March.
The ten issues bill will also include the rejection “to the persistent colonialist and militarist attitude” of the UK in the South Atlantic, “thus violating the legitimate sovereign rights of Argentina and ignoring the UN resolutions that urge the search of a peaceful, fair and long standing solution to the Malvinas conflict.”
As it reaffirms Argentina’s will for dialogue and peace regarding Malvinas islands, the bill warns the international community and the United Nations about “the militarization and the introduction of nuclear weapons in the South Atlantic by the United Kingdom.”
The bill was written by Kirchnerite and opposition lawmakers and its text was approved on Friday and it will be subscribed by the chairmen of the Foreign Relations committees of the Upper and Lower Houses.
The bill also blasts the “UK’s unilateral illegitimate actions” regarding fishing and fuel discoveries that violate several UN and OAE resolutions and warns about the possibility of “an environmental disaster in the South Atlantic.”'

    Same old shit.... yawn.....
