“She really is beautiful when you meet her close up”... yeah if you call someone with their entire face falling off “beautiful” i suppose!

“she losing her grip at home”... i think she and most of her fanatical fascist followers lost their grip on reality a LONG time ago!

Argentina's national football team has just announced it will boycott the 2012 London Olympic Games.

That will certainly hurt attendance at the football tourney.

Troll - Why would the Argentine football team not being at the London olympics affect ticket sales? I am stuggling to determine your methodology which has brought you to that conclusion.

The draw will be on April 26th with the football tickets to be issued after the draw date.

They want to make us out to be the bad and violent little ones, something we’re not,” she declared back in January,

Seems she is delusional as well as an ugly bitch. This none violent little people invaded a peaceful few islands and killed over 200 of my countrymen and before that threw the real none violent ones from aircraft alive. However, hey what's a little lie in the greater scheme things and that's not forgetting all the real population of Argentina who the little peaceful murdering scum killed when they set out to ruin a country that could if they had gone about it in the right way could have been the top player in South America. God help the world if this peace loving country called Argentina suddenly became aggressive. I don't usually wish hurt on anyone well not often but on this occasion I just think that it’s a pity for the normal Argentines that this ugly psychotic bitch did not have cancer as they could do far better than her.

Have I missed something or is it the Argies losing again and claiming it should really have been a victory. Will they still be claiming they woz cheated out of a place in 30 years time.

Like Argentinian politicians, Argentinian footballers just like to play by their own rules. An example is that Argentinians like to use their hand to push the ball into the back of the net, somewhat like in aussie rules football. For some reason other people let them do this.

I don't think the olympics is going to fall apart just because some hairy mulleted rule-breakers that smell of wee don't want to turn up. Besides, there aren't any Maximo hotels in london for them to stay in with special poo-flush bidets.

Peronism - the evil that will never die. Presumably because the Argentinians are too stupid or simply too indoctrinated to realise that it is this outdated, rampantly nationalistic, quasi fascist political theory - and not the outside world - which is responsible for their country's problems.

@16 GreekYoghurt...actually I think you make an interesting point with some cultural significance with regard to football in the part of the world being referred to. There may be some validity in the notion that the RG's approach the game from an entirely different perspective to us. Namely, cheating is all a part of the game. If you can cheat and get away with it then you are all the more clever for doing so. To those of us who regard cheating as not part of the game, then we are dealing with forces we don't understand!

I think it may be worthwhile taking this cultural difference into account with regard to our dealings with the KFC government who would like to cheat us out of our islands and our natural resources.

    I think this

@23 Sure. I think most governments are aware that the Argentinians play the 'Cheat, Cheat, and thrice Cheat' policy that is enshrined in their cultural values.

Just look at that world cup where Maradonna 'pushed' a ball into the goal. They considered themselves winners simply because they took whatever tactics they could, including not following the rules. Allegations of football corruption were alive then and supported the Argentinians win.

They do the same with anything they sign. Look at the 1850 Treaty of friendship, where they signed away their rights to the falklands. 90 years later, they're back and trying to have another go, forgetting everything they've signed before. In the USA they're refusing to accept local court and ICSID judgements. They're trying to 'cheat' at everything and for some reason, everyone is letting them get away with it.

Even in the Falklands War they 'cheated' by going against international law and not mapping their minefields, sometimes just chucking the excess mines out of planes 'whenever they felt like it'.

It's about time they get kicked out of the G20/G77 and WTO just to show them what happens to cheats. At least the UK Armed Forces are ready for some more cheating at mount pleasant, after having spent ages yomping around the islands in readiness.

April Fool's in the UK lasts the full 24 hours. Strategicus is the only one man enough and confident enough to realize he partook in the festivities. I'm sure I had the entire UK googleling “Argentine football team olympics” today... LOL!!!

We didn't lose btw, we were just tired of winning gold medals in football and also the UK threatened to nuke us if we went, since they would like to at least reach the semis and maybe strike lucky and get bronze. It's been a century after all.

Everyone is letting us ''cheat'' because most of the countries of the world sell more to us than we to them (the UK being a minor exception), or their investments in Argentina are more important than those at home (Chile, for example). So they pretty much have no choice but to sit down with us.

Seems CFK can't keep too many things secret. A $15.7 million increase in her assets in less than 9 years! Does that include Nestor's assets now that she's bumped him off? And now she's coming out of the closet. Wears black all the time, it says. Quite appropriate for a Black Widow that eats its “partner” after screwing him. And argies are being screwed. Royally screwed, in fact. The article is complete in some aspects, but there are also some distortions which i'm going to argue about.
Firstly, who cares about her dresses, her make up, or the colour of her clothe?. Only her ideas matter, anyone can agree or not with her, but we must talk about her ideas, not about her clothe.
Since c. f. k took office, some very partial truthes, or lies are told all the time, like the soposed constant restriction to the critic press, i dont deny that her government eliminated the official advertising for a few newspapers that are very critic, which is repudiable, but what nobody tells, is that the official advertising represents only the 10% of the whole advertisements. Beside, the conservative media started a big push of power with her government, when it increased the taxes for the agrarian exports, and nationalized the pension sistem, where it had interests. Since that moment, everytime she criticises the distortios of the media, it's taken as an atack to the freedom of press. Anyway, if you want to know about the true state of the freedom of press in arg., and in all the rest of the world, i recommend you to search on line, the map of reporters with out borders, which is a non government organization that informs about the state of the freedom of press in the whole world, you'll see tha arg. has a good concept regarding it's freedom of press.
Another point that i want to discuss about is, la campora, in my 30 years, i have never seen such a bad treat and understimation by the press, to the militants from a politic party, in some opinions that are published in the newspapers, all those people who are activists in la campora, are considered as idiots, or are considered also as people who were bought by the government, this kind of lack of respect doesn't resist any debate. Beside, what is wrong if militants from la campora occupy charges in statal enterprizes, all the politic parties do that, there is a lot of hipocrisy and very bad faith in many critics.

@37 I'm not sure where to start with your latest rant.

First, we don't care about turkey-neck's clothes, more her sinister expansionist ideology.

Next is the goebbelian media that does naught but rain praise down one your kakistocracy. Just when we all thought it couldn't get more orwellian they suddenly banned all reading material from abroad. It was hilariously 1930s Germany.

Finally is your version of the Hitler Youth and Sturmabteilung, Le Camping. Well they're pretty much running most things in Argentina now, and let's face it, they lose a lot of money. That money is supposed to make you have brand new planes to make people want to fly on your national airline, and then it just goes missing. Now it's gone... but where?

You want to answer? I doubt it, because you're in Le Camping.

This is what psycologists ( did I spell that right? ) call projection. It's their MO in order to justify their dispicable acts towards another human being.
