    “only as part of a new free-trade agreement with Mercosur. The EU was not willing to negotiate on a unilateral basis”.

    Seems the EU are in a strong position, and as Argentina is part of mercosur, Argentina’s actions become Brazil’s problem.

    Funny how things turn out sometimes.
