Yet again a cynical ploy by the Arg gov.

India And Russia? Why not US, China etc. etc

This is a war albeit with propagandawhich the FIG and British gov. have no choice but to engage in.

If I was the FI and British gov I would mirror every move Argentina makes. Such as put ads in these Indian and Russian papers to counter the absurd claims.

    Argentina just looks desperate.

    “Give peace a chance”:

-Leave the Falklanders alone, and lift the restrictions because it is not the right thing to do.
    - Stop making this issue the only foreign matter the country has.
    - Break diplomatic ties with the UK. State that “we will stop our harrassment of the Falklands, but otherwise we wish no relations with your government”.
    - Close the embassies in London and theirs in Buenos Aires.
    - Stop eawigging neighbors to do our bidding.

    Get on with it.

Please come and protect us, we are just about peace.'

Britain/Europe/the USA already do a great job at newspeak, agitprop, and cultural manipulation to claim they are the greatest thing to happen on this planet since two H's decided to hang with an O.

Scan over the history of the early 20th century (Britain/Europe), and late 20th century (USA). I can't find much good that these countries have brought to the world, no, sorry.

Where you see wars of liberation I see preemtive illegal wars.
Where you see wars to fight totalitarianism I see wars for survival (on your part), and hardly taken on out of concern for oppressed people
Where you see free trade I see criminal subsidies.
Where you see diplomacy I see duplicity.

The truth, I will admit, is somewhere in the middle, nontheless.

So using her definition of terms, 'give peace a chance' equates to 'colonising someone else's land against their will based upon false history, leading ultimately to ethnic cleansing'.

So 'give peace a chance' was what Hitler wanted with the Generalplan Ost. Why didn't we listen to KFC and 'give peace a chance' when Peron's bff Hitler was around?

Totally agree with you GY. What an insult to the people killed and injured & their families, both British & Argentinian that this self important cretin KFC is using this anniversary to once again attempt to steal territory and destroy the lives of innocent Islanders, just as the generals before her did a generation ago. She has no shame and she is a bully.

One day in the not too distant future, just before dementia finally sets in, she will arrive the realisation that the will of the British people far exceeds hers and that her hopes for new colonies will have been wasted. :)

Like I said before the short war of 1982 was wrong and the dictators, who by the way had Britain full support before the war, are dead, in jail or heading there.
    Is Tony Blair in jail?

The answer to your question: Soon after your government apologised for the invasions of 1806;1807;1833 and 1845.
We didn't sail 14000 km to invade your land in Europe.

    Here we go again.
1806 & 1807 Britian was engaged in the Napoleonic war, remenber him? Napoleon? The Spanish were then his allies, BA was Spanish, we attacked the Spanish, Argentina did not even exist then, how many more times!
1833. The Islands were British, your penal colony was there illegaly, only 4 left and they were not even Argentinian! the remainder stayed, their descendants are there to this day!
1845 was an Anglo-French blockade, not an invasion!
If your the same Marcos Alejandro who posted in the telegraph? you must be because you clearly have live time access to UK television broadcasting, you stated have lived in London for over 30 years. Why don't you pop down to number 10 and ask for an apology in person?
No you did not sail 14000km to invade, you came 14000km to live here, in peace and freedom from political oppression and I'm guessing, just guessing mind you, that is exactly what you got! That is if you are the same guy?

The Falklands and the UK already have peace and always have, The problem is Argenweener who wish to destablize the whole area until it gets what it wants and that is the resources of the Falkland people and the whole south atlantic showing blatant disregard for other countries or territories.

Argentina needs to realize that they cannot treat countries like it does its own people, countries bite back.

Wrong, you attacked the civilian population of Buenos Aires, 99% of whom were criollos (not born in Spain), and most had never set a foot in Spain. Moreover, they already saw themselves as virtually separate from that country.

You attacked innocent civilians, not any army, there was no Spanish army in Buenos Aires. It had mostly left for the Pacific coast to protect its far more valuable colonies.

I do not know whther the following is fact as it is on wiki but if it is then in 1833, 80% of the UPotRP militia were British mercenaries and the reason they did not fight Onslow and co was because they would not fight their fellow country men-they were expelled. Think about it 80% British. Of the civilian population on the Falkland Islands asked to stay (not expelled Marcos you fool), the majority were from the UPot RP. But they wanted to stay under British rule, they were not expelled. As the civilan population were not all British (2 were), then the population cannot have been transplanted 'only British' people. Think about it-the Rg's say that the South Americans from the UPot RP were expelled whe nin fact 80% expelled were british and the people that stayed were mostly South American who wanted to be under British rule. Sort of furks up EVERYTHING the Argentines are saying doesn't it?

Allow me please to understand your logic for a moment.

According with your logic in 1982 Argentina invade the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland?

Because these Islands are a colony of UkoGB&NI. That way works your logic?

British troops invaded Buenos Aires and BA existed since 1536 so like or not UK was defeated 2 times by Buenos Aires and 2 other more times with troops from other provinces.

UK never fought against Spanish down here they run like cowards somewhere.
