Look around you Mr Franco. Do you want relations with the nations that turned up or those that didn't bother? Mercosur is now a joke - is it really worth rejoining?

Well done to Paraguay. Your history has been somewhat difficult, but you do seem to understand democracy. You should turn your back on the tyrannical and dictatorial mercosur. I believe you will be sorry if you don't. How were things before Venezuela? If you rejoin, you will be faced with argieland, Brazil, Venezuela and their impotent lapdog, Uruguay. And how will that be in Paraguay's interests? They sanctioned you for acting in accordance with your constitution to stamp on corruption. Venezuela and argieland are corrupt anyway. If you go with the “new” mercosur, figure out how you are going to get ripped off. Look at who is willing to stand with you and who isn't!

She should gouge a 5 mile wide trench to the sea, fill it in, and trade at sea.
Regardless of what her neighbours have to say.

Just keep out of the rose garden.

Hey it’s just a thought, at least we are trying to help
    Unlike hugo the bear.

Can’t see how Paraguay can win this argument, but fair play to them for arguing it.

7 Conqueror (#) You totally misunderstand me. Why should I like it. This alliances' purpose is to divide Latin America and halt progressive initiatives. Contrary to my thinking.

#4 - Paraguay already has a sea route through the Paraguay River. It functions well enough except that Argentina halts a lot of our products just for the hell of it.

#8 - I find it amazing that you truly believe in communism. How you think through the government you can force others to do as you please is beyond belief? You want a system of slavery. Go join the EPP and get killed along with your communist buddies. Bet you had a huge party celebrating Che too didn't you? Prog, do as you please, but don't try to force others to do as you please.

    BAMF PAraguay
You are living a dilussion. Argentina nor any other country is stopping any product from reaching Paraguay.

Who told you that I believe in Communism. Where are the comunists that these scoundrels are supposed to be stopping. I don't care to join the EPP, ERP, FARC, the YMCA, the Boy Scouts, etc. The EPP must excists because you guys created the conditions for it. I suppose that you would be very supportive of South American juntas of the 1970's. Were you actually working a night shift in the torture chambers ofr Stroessner, Pinochet, etc.? You must have felt like it was your time to make history and that the ghosts abound to start all over again. COMMUNISTS, COMMUNISTS, I SEE COMMUNISTS EVERYWHEREEEE! STOP THEM. THEY MUST BE STOPPED AT ALL COSTS!!! STOP THEM BEFORE THEY INTRUDE WITH OUR FREEDOMS OF RELIGION AND SPEECH! BRING BACK THE TORCHURE CHAMBERS, THE NIGHT RAIDS, WE MUST POUND THEM GAINST THE GROUND AND SPIT ON THEM!
