    Palestinians deserve recognition AND self-determination.... its got nothing to do with terrorists.

    Very saddened that the UK abstained, at least it didnt vote against.... amazing that the USA didnt wag us into the ”against” camp.

    No countries have more of a history of terror on innocents than the UK, the US and Israel. Israel has destroyed way more families than Hamas's capabilities allow it to, and the destruction inflicted on children by the US and the UK armies far surpasses what al-Qaeda could ever aspire. The UK, additionally, has a prolonged history of ethnic cleansing of native peoples, or otherwise disrespecting their rights, to implant settler and colonist populations in territory that doesn't belong to it. Hence the empathy with Israel. Is it any wonder the three State Terror amigoes supported one another by either abstaining or voting against Palestine?

    Btw, a story we won't read on Mercopress:

    @Pirate Love

    Who provides Hamas with its rockets is Iran via Syria. However, Hamas broke with Syria not long ago, thereby also weakening its ties with Iran. As for the Fatah movement, which rules part of the West Bank, it has never been very close to either of those two countries, and this has been the case since at least the days of the Lebanese civil war. Your belief that Iran or Syria rules Palestine does nothing but prove that you know nothing about the subject you're discussing. Try and pass more of your time studying this subject before trying to stupidly run your mouth about it again, you Britard.

    @10 yes thats right Iran supplies the rockets, but egypt is the main route in for rockets using tunnels dont you study anything?
    your insults are wasted on me, but if you think it somehow validates your comment by trying to belittle another, then knock yourself out, but your still wrong and palestine is run by terrorists who is still sponsored by Iran.

    Hamas(Iran) targeting israeli civilians with 15000 rockets in 10 years, previously described as terrorism by United Nations, European Union, and are defined as war crimes by human rights groups Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. :)))

    @8 Pro-muslim Rhetoric, the norm.

    SELF-DETERMINATION, cannot be beat !

    - “ but egypt is the main route in for rockets using tunnels dont you study anything?”

    What of it? Egypt has little oversight about the routes, plus it can't completely shut them down because they are also where much humanitarian aid comes from.

    - ”Hamas(Iran)“

    As said before, you should cure your historical illiteracy before commenting on such delicate subject, Britard.

    - ”with 15000 rockets in 10 years”

    Fabricating the numbers, are we?
    * Gaza Rockets fired at Israel in 7 years since 2005 (according to Israel itself): 9,000
    * Israel shells fired at Gaza from 2005-2006 ALONE (according to the UN OCHA): 15,000.

    - “United Nations, European Union”
    Neither the UN nor the EU define Hamas as a terrorist group. I'm dumbstruck by both your ignorance of this subject and your mendacity. Britard, a pure Britard - no doubt about it!

    “are defined as war crimes by human rights groups Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.”

    So is Israel, idiot. Amnesty International and HRW have both found hat Israel engaged in state terror (that is, in puposeful targeting of civilian populations for political purposes) in Operation Cast Lead and in the 2006 Lebanon War, to say nothing of older events such as the 1996 Qana massacre.

    Hahahaha

    “what of it?” your were saying syria is the route and Iran ties are weakening, now you are agreeing its egypt is the route and its justified because it comes with aid, Wtf? make your mind up.

    ”Hamas(Iran)“ Iranian state sponsored along with hezbollah, Iran supply the means to terrorise.

    15000 projectile attacks by hamas since 2001, Israel has shown it fires in response to attacks, if you dont like israels self defence dont force it.

    ”you should cure your historical illiteracy”, you know your own faults best :))

    still your insults reflect your misinformation and desperation,
    “Idiot” “Britard” really? surely thats not the best you can do is it?? :(((

    @3 Who, or what, are “palestinians”? Tell us how you are on the recognition and self-determination of the “recifians”. How about the “salvadorans”? There has never been a country or state called “palestine”. It's a region. You should look up its boundaries http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Historical_boundaries_of_Palestine_(plain).svg
    before you continue to make a fool of yourself.
    @6 “Palestinian” glory. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Historical_boundaries_of_Palestine_(plain).svg
    @7 Destroy “palestine” and argieland. Innumerable problems solved!
    @8 Really? How many indigenous people did you murder? Latino “countries” in South America. The worst terrorists and murderers the world has ever seen. Millions killed and/or dispossessed. Raped and enslaved. Portugal and Spain have a prolonged history of ethnic cleansing of native peoples, or otherwise disrespecting their rights, to implant settler and colonist populations in territory that doesn't belong to them. Crucifixion, garotting, burning, beheading, they did it all. As well as just shooting.
    @10 Yeah, right. And you are right in there moving the weapons along aren't you?
    @12 Not enough Israeli response. Gentle Israel. 9,000 Hamas rockets should have seen 50,000 Israeli missiles. I'm sure that I've mentioned before that when you come across a mad dog, you shoot it. And what's the difference between a “palestino” and a “latino”?
    @14 Have you ever tried investing in the replacement of your “brain”? Oh, what would you know about a “brain”? Shall I explain? Assuming that you are a biped, you probably have a skull a small distance above your “shoulders”. Do you have “shoulders” or are you just a typical piece of argie slime? You can replace “argie” with some other waste of space if you wish. Most LatAm “countries” are slime. I won't list the slime “countries”. You know who you are. Here's a clue. Chile isn't a slime “country”. Ecuador is.

    It's so simple isn't it?

    Poor Palestine (whatever that is) always bashed by Israel and all Hamas did was fire a few hundred rockets into their territory since the last ‘ceasefire’ and kill a few Jews.

    The reality is far, far simpler and for all you Palestine sympathisers I can explain it very simply for you are simpletons: if Palestinians, aka as Hamas, aka Arab jihadists, funded by Iran, lay down their weapons there would be peace. End of problem.

    If the Israelis lay down their weapons there would be a massacre: of the Israelis.

    For that is the old, old problem. The Muslims do NOT want peace, they want ALL Jews killed and the Palestinians are the pawns in the game. But they brought it on themselves, THEY voted HAMAS into power and they must live with the consequences of their collective madness.

    It is just a pity that that involves the Israelis.
