When will this brutal slaying of the young stop?

When will the Argentine government start looking inwards at its own problems, and move to protect their own people?

When will Argentina RESPECT the indigenous people of THEIR own country?

This is an absolute tragedy, and the Argentine government should hold their heads in shame.

A UN commission recently took Argentina to task for its mistreatment of its indigenous peoples. But then this all started in the nineteenth century when Roca was responsible for acts of genocide against native tribes.

    @2 Gordo1

You mean pgerman was WRONG about that divine man of peace, Roca? He was a murdering coward, whom we all thought, after all?

I can hardly believe it! Oh, wait a minute; I CAN believe it because it is happening right now in the north east of Argentina. When are the argies going to learn that killing the indigenous people for colonial acquisition of their land is unacceptable in 2013?

I found a video of the killing.
In Canada they would lose their parents and taken away from their homes and then died of hunger, Argentine have a long way to go if they mean to match the English murderous history with slaves and natives.

I would invite you to think about the key word in your little rant there. That word is “history” i.e :- not current.

You know what? we have learnt from our history, if you are going to talk about history then what about the “The Dirty War” in Agentina?? 40 years ago

Kicking nun's out of planes into the Atlantic?? 40 years ago

planting grenades in school desks?? 30 years ago

Deporting the population? 30 years ago

Laying unmapped mine fields?? 30 years ago

    Trashing shipping offices?? Last week!!

You see?? It's not just the English that have a “murderous history” is it??

Would you care to comment on your own??

Hardly surprising that a nation founded on theft and genocide would treat the surviving indigenous peoples well, but hunting and murdering their children like animals is even more bestial than we would have expected. I imagine the people of the Falkland Islands are watching, and are not impressed. Happily they have backup and have hundreds of miles of ocean to separate them from those degenerates.

    @4 - Pirat-hunter

Aren't you a pretend indigenous person? Why aren't you railing against the murderous Spanish, German and Italian colonists who are continuing to murder the indigenous people?

I'll tell you something, the 'old' British Empire couldn't hold a candle to the brutality of the Spanish and Roman (Italian) Empires, or to the Third Reich. Since Argentinas colonial population is made up mainly of these people and their descendants its little wonder that the Argentine people still consider the lives of natives irrelevant.

The British Empire may not have been perfect, and did do some terrible things, but these really pale in comparison to what the colonisers of South America did.

Entire tribes wiped out. Mass murder on a huge scale. Entire civilisations destroyed. Rape and pillaging of the natural resources of South America.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Or as Jesus said: Let he who is without sin throw the 1st stone.

Argentina has its own sin, and the sins of their European forefathers: Spain, Italy, Germany, too.

We British don't deny our past. Argentina denies the past, even the recent past, and since you deny it, you keep on compounding the sin by repeating the atrocities of your ancestors.

A big thanks to all Brutish Turnips for their “kind interest” in stopping those brutal and unacceptable racial killings making headlines in Argentina these days.
Such killings would, of course, never happen in a serious Country like Britain………, right...?:

96 racial killings since Stephen Lawrence’s murder.
    January 5, 2012 / IRR News Team
The IRR, which records all deaths with a (known or suspected) racial element has found that since the death of Stephen Lawrence in 1993 that at least ninety-six people have died in such attacks – AN AVERAGE OF FIVE PER YEAR.
…….our research shows that the main parties are in denial about the extent and severity of racial violence, and interested in rightwing extremism only when it challenges them electorally. And yet it is the policies and pronouncements of mainstream politicians, on a range of issues from terrorism and foreign wars to cohesion, criminality and immigration, which create the insidious popular racism in which such violence foments.
The sad fact is that such murders hardly make news. The names of victims will barely be known to any but their immediate families.
We remember all those that have died since Stephen Lawrence in 1993 and list their names here:

    1993: Saied Ahmedm, Ali Ibrahim.

1994: Shamsuddin Mahmood, Donna O’Dwyer, Mohan Singh Kullar.

    1995: Mushtaq Hussain.

1996: Daniel Blake and John Reid.

    1997: Michael Menson, Lahkvinder Reel.

1998: James Tossell, Akofa Hodasi, Remi Surage, Surjit Singh Chhokar, Farhan Mire.

1999: Jay Abatan, Stelios Economou, Harold McGowan, Liaquat Ali, Joseph Alcendor, Ben Kamanalagi, Hassan Musa, Zardasht Draey, Jason McGowan.

2000: Zahid Mubarek, Santokh Singh Sandhu, Komra Divakaren, Jan Marthin Pasalbessi, Glynne Agard, Mohammed Asghar, Abdi Dorre, Tariq Javed, Khaliur Rahman, Sarfraz Khan.

2001: Gian Singh Nagra, Fetah Marku, Shiblu Rahman, Sharon Bubb, Firsat, Ross Parker.

As much as you would like to deflect this thread, just saying“ well, you guys did bad things too”, does not explain or justify what is happening in Argentina right now, by your own authorities.

That is what this thread is about - events in Argentina.

Any comment on the murder of these kids and other aboriginals. Perhaps you have some interesting information we are not aware of??

    @PH - ALEX VARGAS

You have said you are a “real American” , an “Amerindian” and you know no nation boundaries of “the white man”.

Is it acceptable that CFK's Argentine authorities allow these killings to go on, and in fact perpetrate them, themselves???

    Congratulations Think!!!

I'm glad to see that your powers of cutting and pasting are un-diminished as ever.

Meanwhile, how many murders have been commited in Argentina over the same time frame??

May I ask a question, shocking those these figures are is it not true that KFC / TMBOA / Ol' Turkey Neck is commiting murder by doing nothing while the people that she is meant to be representing, starve because they are not paid enough to buy food and inflation is running out of control. Stealing off her own people, standing by while they loose their homes and their jobs........and that goes un-reported...

I'm sorry, who do you “think” is brain washed???

@4 Oh good. A film of a massacre by a psycho. But then lots of argies are psychos, aren't they? It's why there are so many psychiatrists in argieland. But let's be careful. Argie psychos are now being exported. Even to Canada. And then on to a film of a boy supposedly tortured in Libya. Well, Gaddafi was like that. And on to a film about a U.S. American law enforcement officer being shot by the animals of Mexico. Let's think about that. Two American videos, one involving latinos and the other a psycho. Sounds like P-H. And one from a country where the dictator used to hang students on the anniversary of his inauguration. And televise it. Not an English person in sight!
@8 I go with LEPRecon on this. In fact, I'll go further. These FOUR incidents are racially-motivated MURDER. In another word, GENOCIDE. And AT LEAST two carried out by a state official. STATE-SANCTIONED GENOCIDE!!
Let's have some UN investigators in there. Surrounded by around 20,000 of the meanest UN troops we can find. And when the animals are found, string 'em up. To die by choking over a 24 hour period. The only suitable retribution for the deliberate murder of a 10-month old baby. Reduce the slug's weight to make it last longer. Cut off his arms, his legs and his genitals. And find that “gendarme” and do the same to him. Don't forget to slit their bellies so that can see their intestines spill out!
@9 & 12 IGNORED AT POSTER'S REQUEST. Except, come again. We'll remember all this. And, wherever possible, I'm sure it can be arranged for every argie invader to die in absolute agony! Don't bother about the corpses. The ocean will take them all!

He has a 1950's Russian 'Pilots' watch ex French, hacked by the Ruskies to make it synchronize on demand and it keeps perfect time: TWICE A DAY.

That's why he 'thinks' it takes much longer for the seasons to pass! So 1 week must take at least 3 months.

You think I'm back? I'm still on vacation, unlike in your country, most areas here have internet. And don't worry, I'll ask the question on Yahoo Australia if the average australian gets 3 months paid vacation each and every year. See what the answers are... hahahahahahaha.

Just a little gift to the anglos, saw this one early today in the yahoo USA page:

    http://health.yahoo.net/news/s/nm/canada-pledges-better-water-for-aboriginals-amid-blockade-threat

Very forward looking on the part of the Canadians... givingtheir natives somewhat clean WATER. Welcome to the late 19th century!

We are talking about a country with massive fresh water reserves, and supposedly very wealthy... and their natives have as much problem accessing water as Argentina's natives?

    hahaha.

But it sure beats the treatment of natives by the yankees and dundees, in the USA they just simply shoot them in mass, and in Australia well, in the hierarchy of life aboriginals are somewhere between dying sheep and cane toads.

Going to enjoy the day. Bye bye hypocrites. (or anglos... same synonym)

Not sure what the Brits or the UK have to do with the genocide in Argentina, or the murders and discrimination by the Police and the coverups by the local authorities.
The Governor will not even admit there was any “problem with race”, clearly intending not to acknowledge it.

Same as the Trolls, Think and Notgive-Adamus.
Not to mention, Pirat-Hunter ALEX VARGAS, the “Amerindian” from Argentina who like a cowering puppy, does not dare to criticise La Campora, or CFK.

They were all happy to condemn the previous government of the Argentine people, the Junta, for discrimination and “ethnic-cleansing” of their own indigenous people, but an inconvenient story on Mercopress showing that it is still rampant within their current government and local authorities are wholly complicit, some taking a personal hand.

Any of the regular Trolls care to comment on these events occurring in Argentina, as written about in this article??

    No, I thought not.

Meanwhile, ALEX VARGAS, is curled up in the dark, behind the couch, licking his balls...

These racist murders are despicable, as are the racist murders in my own country that Think has reminded the haters and turnips of. All societies have a racist problem to confront, but I won't stand for the double standard that somehow sees the race problem entirely solved in the UK (its not) while seeing similar incidents in Argentina as some kind of wider ethnic cleansing, for which I've seen no evidence at all. I hope Cristina and the Argentine left will come down hard on these killers, and am optimistic they will given their record in facing up to Argentina's other homegorown dark elements by jailing the junta and facing down greedy ruling class sectors
