    FalklandPress forgot to add:

Notably irritated, after the unanimous applause to Gloria Oquelis` speech where “solidarity with the Argentine peoepl” was expressed, Sinclair told her European colleagues: “for reasons like this the UK will end up retiring from the Uropean Union”.

Sinclair`s irritation indicates how lonely the UK is on its stance regarding its colonial possessions in the South Atlantic.

Oh that's going to go well. “Give us back our Sudetenland and East Prussia that we lost in a war we started to expand our countries overt and irredeemable Fascist policies and negation of fundamental human rights.” and “Asking Falklanders to vote to remain British is asking Poles to remain Polish or Danes Danish, or Czechs Czech.

@3, it would be amusing if the aircraft were to be ”repoed“ and he has to fly coach in the middle seat back and seeing him walk up and down the aisles saying ”excuse me, that's my wife, can we swap please...“ ”excuse me that's my child, can we swap please” I'm not holding my breath though (and boy it can be irritating when people try to ask you trade down for their *real* family members).

#2 To be honest it really doesn't matter how “lonely” you think we are. What's going to happen?

    - We know nothing will come of any action through the UN, and we know we'd win any case in the ICJ. The only thing that could shift us is concerted major action by SA, something like a trade embargo and there is no chance of that happening even if we were outside the EU. Face it, you're (Argentina) impotent to effect any kind of change to Falklands.

English obvious desperation to become clear English colonialism and fantasy of self-determination against international solidarity with Argentina.

The Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly approved a document Malvinas.

    http://www.pagina12.com.ar/diario/elpais/subnotas/212661-62147-2013-01-26.html

The Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly adopted a document recommending the heads of state of the EU CELAC and foster “dialogue for a peaceful, just and lasting solution” to the sovereignty dispute over the Falkland Islands, as proclaimed by various UN resolutions. “The Assembly discussed the” Malvinas issue 'in different organs and promotes dialogue for a solution, “says the message of parliamentarians, approved yesterday by all participants of the meeting of the Political Affairs Committee, British Deputy least Nicole ”Nikki“ Sinclaire, who left the room at the time of the discussion. The initiative was sponsored by Senator Daniel Filmus. It was recalled that the case of Malvinas ”to United Nations is not a question of law for the determination of the occupants of Malvinas“, referring to the referendum driven from London but ”the people of the Falklands are a result of a colonial occupation“ .

    http://www.pagina12.com.ar/diario/elpais/subnotas/212661-62147-2013-01-26.html

.... Respect for the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands, but the UK, as a member of the EU, blocked any explicit mention in point five of the document is a clear nod to Argentina's position. There, the 61 signatory countries reaffirmed their commitment ”to all the purposes and principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations“ and the ”decision to support all efforts to uphold the sovereign equality of all States, respect their territorial integrity and independence policy “in addition to” refrain in international relations from the threat or use of force “,” support the resolution of disputes by peaceful means and in accordance with the principles of justice and international law. ”

And I have a hunch, when Scotland does not belong more to the UK and the official religion is Islam in England .. As it no longer makes sense to continue to have colonies in the world ..

And when he says fantasy of self determinations I think he's referring to Chapter 1 of the UN and also the recent support of Ban Ki Moon.

So I think what he's saying is the UN is a fantasy and nobody supports the UN's principles of self-determination given the UN has said in a public statement it supports the people of the Falkland Islands in its self-determination.

@13 Raul : I realise I am wasting my time replying to you, since you are such a f***ing idiot, but has it every crossed your tiny mind that EVERYYONE would like “dialogue for a peaceful, just and lasting solution”.

This would require Argentina to stop holding the position of evil facist lying imperialist arseholes.

1.Stop claiming somrthing that is not yours, then the problem is solved.

    2. Then stop using your political weight in SA to bully you small neighbour, and the British military COULD be out of the Falklands in a decade.

It seems to me that Argentina does not have a clue what negotiations are: Argentina bring nothing to the table.

A 'just' solution does not include allowing Argentina to annex the Falklands against the wishes of as close to an indiginous population as the you are ever going to get on those islands (that is, people who have roots there going back many, many generations or people they have invited to join them via an immigration policy that THEY control).

@ Raul, why do you think that talking means Argentina Soverinty winning?

Win Win Argentina and England. Consequently everybody wins.
Automatically Speaking is evident that the Falklands conflict is sovereignty. No self-determination as the British islanders are British citizens precisely. They are represented by the British authorities in London.
World public opinion is in favor of Argentina because it complies with international law to enforce UN resolutions.
Although not binding UN resolutions must be fulfilled as it is the best means of resolving disputes peacefully as the established United Nations Charter.

In this regard it should be noted that Resolution 1514 (XV) “Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples” in the sixth paragraph states that “Any attempt aimed at the partial or total disruption of the national unity and territorial integrity of a country is incompatible with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations. ”
In the Malvinas Question General Assembly of the United Nations included this doctrine - the principle of territorial integrity by referring to the interests and NOT the wishes of the population of the islands - in its resolution 2065 (XX), 1965, ratified by later resolutions 1973 (3160, XXVIII) 1976 (31/49), 1982 (37/9), 1983 (38/12), 1984 (39/6), 1985 (40/21), 1986 (41 / 40), 1987 (42/19) and 1988 (43/25). They all declare the existence of a sovereignty dispute and reaffirm the invitation made in resolution 2065 (XX) Parties (Argentina and the UK) ”to proceed without delay with the negotiations recommended by the Special Committee in order to find a solution the problem peacefully, taking into account the provisions and objectives of the United Nations Charter and Resolution 1514 (XV) and the interests of the people of the Falkland Islands. ”

Speaking of interests, not desires, expressly refers to the sovereignty of the islands.

Is there anyway the FIG could drag Timmerman into court for slander/libel if he starts spreading his evil lies in the UK. Or could the UK boot him out effectively for spreading hate messages.

There must be some action that can be taken to stop overseas politicians spreading fake propaganda within our borders. I can't help but feel that the UK government is sleepwalking with the future of the Falkland Islanders.

The FIG needs to start being far more proactive when faced with situations like this, because the UK government won't, and to not confront it is to give it the air of legitimacy (which it should never, ever have).

@Raul Now thats not how Mr VBanki Moon sees things.

Ban Ki-moon and colonialism: people should be able to decide their own future

Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said UK is not violating relevant UN resolutions referred to the Falklands’ and more specifically on colonialism, he argued that a prevailing impression is that “people living under certain conditions should have a certain level of capacities so that they can decide their own future”, be it independence or some kind of government in their territories.

There is NO WAY the voice and wishes of The Falkland Islanders will not be heard or part of any discussion NEVER so nothing will be changing any time soon and definetely in The Botox Queens reign

The referendum in March is peaceful (we're not threatening anyone - despite what CFK claims) and complies with the UN's most basic principle - self determination.

“UN resolutions must be fulfilled” - this sounds like a demand not a negotiation. Of course we would like a pragmatic approach (such as we enjoy with the Chileans and some other SA countries) but as Argentina has enshrined sovereignty into its constitution, where is the latitude for negotiation? Plus you need to talk to the islanders not the UK government. Our stance on this is very clear.

Last desperate opportunity to try and curry favour from the EU to side with Argentina in its claims in light of the referendum that is coming and will be a landslide vote to push forward with the islanders rights to self determination. The RG argument is full of the same old claims that have already been proved as weak at best and thus, they will continue to make fools of themselves on the world stage. There is nothing they can do, nothing at all. Even if, in some crazy way they do secure the islands, what are they going to do with them once the islanders have left or been exterminated? I see Raul is trying to create alternative reality once more posting UN resolutions that are not only expired but Argentina ILLEGALLY VIOLATED.

    And if that wasn't enough the head of the UN categorically stated;

How was Scotland dragged into this discussion? But since it has been mentioned, support for independence has dropped considerable in Scotland. And the Electoral Commission overseeing the election rejected the question proposed by Salmond as being weighted towards the 'yes' vote. He accepted the rejection. To be honest most people in the UK are more than happy for Scotland to decide if they wish to remain part of the union. Why do Malvanistas think it is an issue?

I think the word 'outstanding' has been misused in this context. I think it was probably meant to read 'prominent'.

    SATIAGO DECLARATION:
“7. We reaffirm our commitment to the universality and indivisibility of human rights as laid down in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”

Universality. That would include Falklanders then.

    And it goes on:

“36. We welcome the convening, in early 2016, of a special session of the General Assembly of the United Nations on the world drug problem, as agreed in UNGA resolution A/RES/67/193 to review the progress in the implementation of the Political Declaration and Plan of Action on International Cooperation towards an Integrated and Balanced Strategy to Counter the World Drug Problem, including an assessment of the achievements and challenges in countering the drug problem, within the framework of the three international drug control conventions and other relevant United Nations instruments. In this regard, we support possible responses for enhancing the effectiveness of strategies and instruments available for the international community to face in an integral and balanced manner the challenges and consequences posed by the World Drug Problem under the principle of common and shared responsibility. We also commit to identify the most effective strategies to combat the world drug problem in all its dimensions. With this in mind, initiatives and studies being developed in the Latin American and the Caribbean region and in the European Union, and the participation of both regions in this process, may provide a very valuable contribution to the regional and global discussion on the World Drug Problem.”

It would seem hallucinogenic drugs in particular are a problem in Argentina.

I live in Scotland and as things stand there's as much chance of independance happening as rgenweener getting the Falklands NONE. While Tinman and his cronies are here why don't we invite to Portsmouth he can have a look at a real Navy , ie not one laying on it's side, and the Naval museum has a very interesting section on the Falklands War, just in case he needs reminding. 'A pact with the devil?
ARGENTINA’S foreign policy has grown increasingly combative in recent months. In addition to turning up the heat in its longstanding dispute with Britain over control of the Falkland Islands, the government of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner also nationalised a Spanish-controlled oil company without providing a penny of compensation and sparred with Ghana over the impoundment of a naval frigate.
This week Argentina added Israel to its list of burnt bridges. On January 27th its foreign ministry announced the country would collaborate with Iran to form a joint truth commission that will investigate the 1994 car bomb attack at AMIA, a Jewish community centre in Buenos Aires. No one has been convicted for involvement in the bombing, which killed 85 and injured 300. But Argentine prosecutors, Interpol, Israel and Jewish advocacy groups have all publicly accused Iran of directing the attack and dispatching Hizbullah to execute it.....'

And that it is an insult to the people of Britain, the people of the Falkland Islands and the murdered members of HM Armed Forces. Wonder how the argies would react to a British visit to the embassy in Buenos Aires, inviting representatives of all other latino countries, to detail the lies, murders and genocidal actions of argieland? Perhaps it could be coupled with an intelligence exposition of where CFK gets all her money from and how she uses it.

So true a point ignored by our RG posters in here, asking two countries to talk over a dispute they have with some islands is one thing.
But to demand one of those countries give the other the islands, against the wishes of the islands population who would see their natural resources stolen, be ethnically cleansed and airbrushed from history! is another.
Certainly that's not what the UN want, or any normal country.

No Raul, Falkland Islanders don't win. How are you proposing to enforce a 'negotiatated peaceful solution' against islanders' wishes? Seriously, how is that going to work in practice? We have our own defence force, you know. If we decide we don't want you and we decide to resist, passively or otherwise, how does that fit in with your plan to act 'in our best interests'? You haven't thought this through, have you.
And the Falkland Islands is not an 'integral part of your territory'. Whoever said it was, apart from you? We are hundred of miles away, and we've never been under Argentine rule, apart from a few weeks. What a bizarre claim to make.

Our wishes and our interests are the same thing. It cannot be in our interests to be subjugated by a foreign power, you. What a completely mad idea that is too. You've spent too long listening to your own propaganda without questioning it.

The UN resolution says they cannot be ignored, so you've got some problems if the interests of the Islanders don't coincide with being a colony of Argentina, haven't you chey?

However, from someone in S.A.-Argentina- it must be true as they are the font of all wisdom.
Islam ? There is probably more chance of this in Argentina as their Muslim population is on the increase. It would probably be good for the country as they are more honest.

I'm waiting for the press announcement stating that he came to her in a dream and passed on this noble cause to her for the good of the country bla bla then was visited by the ghosts of Eva Peron and Nestor Kirchner. The Argies would believe it, too, probably vote her in as the next President.

Resolution of the problem does not mean that Argentina gets the Falklands. It means the problem must end. There was no problem from 1850-1941, then Argentina's integrity evaporated.

Very true. When the Panamanian arm of the latin american knitting circle association announce their support for the Falklands cause then Argentina will have genuine cause for celebration!

We are not the isolationist failed country with international judgements building up against us are we? Oh that would be you.....Now if that isn't a lonely position then I don't know what is!

These posts from Argentine posters are so desperate its hilarious, I'm sure some of them believe these fantasies which is as amusing as it is pathetic.

As usual more crap meant for Argentine public consumption.

Quite frankly this inept government hasn't got a clue how to solve Argentina's problems (most if which they created), so instead fall back on the Falklands in the hopes of distracting the population.

These so-called EU figures, will probably be Italian and Spanish left wingers, who are if no one if note in their own countries, and less so on the international stage. No doubt they blinding agree with what Timmerman says and then............

..........the Falklands will still be British, and will be British the day after, and so on and so on until the Falkland Islanders decide they want to change their status.

Argentina will, by then, have collapsed under the weight of its own incompetence, and the world will just shrug and carry on with normal jogging.

However, I'm happy for this Argentine government to keep bleating on about the Falklands, telling continual lies, most of which they either contradict with more lies, or are so easily disproved as false that it's quite embarrassing watching them.

The more they bleat on and lie, instead of facing and dealing with the problems affecting Argentina, the more the Argentine people will get fed up about hearing about it, and the less they'll care about the Falklands.

I think it's safe to say that the International community already switch off when Argentina starts beating on.

The Eurolat Assembly has discussed within its various bodies the Falkland Islands issue and supports dialogue for a peaceful, fair and lasting solution within the context of the UN resolutions pertaining thereto (including Resolution 2065 (XX)) and will address this issue again in future meetings;”

2065 says that basically we should give the islands independence and also that the wishes of the people there must be considered in any discussions...so we can do that, no problem :)
Hang on, though, it also says that results of any discussions should be reported in the 21st general assembly meeting and we don't have a time machine to do that so that's that then, no need to follow this one!

He surely can not just hop on a BA plane fly here, walk through immigration on his diplomatic passport and crack on with it. From reading across other countrys' websites, it appears that it would be very difficult for the UK foreign office to not be involved to a certain level if and when timerman arrives as, if anything happens to him e.g. some sort of diplomatic incident, crime, and so on, the UK foreign office would essentially be responsible for his well being. So, ultimately: yes, the UK would have to be informed to some extent but I would suggest it would be up to them as to how far they investigate his reasons for visiting, restrictions (if any, which are doubtful) on his movements or activities.
Knowing the current situation between the two countries, I would suggest it would be very formal on the surface as per protocol, but secretly one eye on whether he's up to naughties. I'm sure any country with outstanding diplomatic issues would do the same.

    Boys reality hits hard.

    Don’t you think so?

Many times I told you that none in Europe will support UK in the Malvinas cause.

None is going to upset Argentina the 8th bigger country in the world, plenty rich in resources and the second engine economy in SA, and a potential strategic partner for EU to sell her goods for a couple of rocks.

And less when Europe is so bad that has to come over her knees asking for help in SA.

What EU members will gain with that?

Nothing, on the contrary they will be banned to sell products to SA, because in the region none wants military presence from UK as US don’t want Military presence on her shores from China.

US also will not support UK because will isolate US even more from the region.

World has change and you have to adapt of will be crashed in the process.

    Just a thought...

Because their own countries are screwed, broke, shit holes just like your piss pot of a country. So yes, they are bound to side with Argentina, or will they? Dream on. Press release from FIG:

The Falkland Islands Government has been advised that the Argentine Foreign Minister will visit London next week, and has requested a meeting with the UK Foreign Secretary William Hague.

Mr Hague has told the Government of Argentina he would be happy to meet Mr Timerman. At that meeting he would want to raise the UK Government’s serious concerns about Argentina’s policy towards the Falkland Islands.

He has also made it clear that, for any conversation on Falkland Islands issues, the Falkland Islands Government must be represented.

Mr Hague has also reiterated to Argentina that there can never be any negotiations over the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands unless and until the Falkland Islanders so wish. The Falkland Islands Legislative Assembly believes that the result of the forthcoming referendum will demonstrate definitively that we do not. Should the issue of sovereignty be raised at the meeting, it will not be discussed.

Members of the Legislative Assembly made it clear in their letter of 2012 to President Fernandez de Kirchner (details of which were made public on June 15, 2012), that the Falkland Islands Government is willing to meet with the Government of Argentina in order to make our views clear, and to discuss matters of mutual interest including fisheries and communication. Therefore, MLA Dick Sawle and MLA Jan Cheek will travel to London this weekend to be available to take part in this discussion.

We want to reassure anyone concerned by this that we are not going to be negotiating any deal with Argentina. Rather we are anticipating a full and frank exchange of views. Indeed we look forward to giving Mr Timerman some very direct messages on the unacceptability of Argentina’s actions against the Falkland Islands in recent years. We demand that our rights be respected, and that we be left in peace to choose our own future and to develop our country for our children and generations to come.

@151 Steve I wouldnt be too worried about this as some of the DTs commentators seem to be. If anything Uruguays possible claim goes back even further but I think theres is as much likeleyhood of them putting forward a claim as UK claiming Heligoland and Hanover
In spite of the politacal bombast and ballyhoo realtions between Uruguay and the Falklands have been good, going way back to Samuel Lafone who was a major investor in both FI and ROU. Fr many years the maritime shipping service was by the Darwin connecting Montevideo and Stanley. Many Falkland Islanders got thier secondary education at the British School in Montevideo and I think the FIG maintained a boarding house for those pupils. Even during the present crisis there have been several interchanges of business and professional people.
Uruguay IS a democracy and it will be interesting to see the reaction to the forthcoming referendum. But dont hope for too much. We have a large bully next door!

Whoever said that the poll claiming only 23% supported Scottish independence, as a recent poll, don't know the fact that it was carried out before the Olympics, and it was of course inaccurate and most likely biased like all other unionist smearing campaigns.
Wow the question changed from a yes or no answer....... to a yes or no answer. Will make little to no difference in the outcome. Recent polls put support for independence as high as 38%, up from 32% while support for the union has decreased. Can I just add that the Electoral Commission were also biased as all members of it were union supporters, with no neutral members a part of it.
I'd stay a part of the UK if we had devo max, but the UK govt have clearly said that isn't going to happen, so I'll vote for independence instead, like many many others.

And why is Timmerbaby such a coward that he doesn't even dare meet a couple of middle aged Islanders face to face. Are his arguments that weak or is he frightened of getting a slap?

“Many times I told you that none in Europe will support UK in the Malvinas cause.”

Wrong yet again, they are already recognized and supported by the EU.

Special member state territories and the European Union

Several European Union member states have special territories which, for historical, geographical, or political reasons, enjoy special status within or outside of the European Union. These statuses range from no or limited derogation from EU policies, limited inclusion in EU policies, or none at all. Most of the territories which are outside the EU nonetheless have a special relationship with the EU.

    British overseas territories
    Falkland Islands

These are counted as Overseas Countries and Territories under the Treaty of Rome; however, Bermuda has chosen not to apply for this status.[9] All citizens of the British overseas territories – including those connected to Bermuda, but excluding those connected to Britain's sovereign bases in Cyprus – were granted full British citizenship by the British Overseas Territories Act 2002 and are consequently citizens of the European Union.

Member states and sovereign territories Application of EU law? Enforceable in local courts? EURATOM? EU citizenship? Falkland Islands Minimal (OCT)[67] No Yes[70][99] Yes Yes

If you are referring to the Scottish referendum, you need to consider that many of the Falkland Islanders are descended from Scots, and a great many Scottish people work in the Falkland Islands, therefore the Scottish economy benefits.

Even if the Scottish after independence, renounce their links with the Falklands(thus losing them £millions ), the rest of the Union will support the islands, BECAUSE WE CAN.

You seem to be unaware that a great many countries are happy to trade with the Falkland Islands ( as they, unlike Argentina, are RELIABLE trade partners) and Argentina's attempts to isolate the islands have backfired in a big way to the detriment of the Argentine economy.

I would suggest that because Argentina cannot make its mind up who are its allies and who aren't(they change with Argentina's unique ability to pick and lose a fight with anybody), nobody cares about upsetting Argentina over the Falklands, especially if they are gaining economically from trading with the Falkland Islands.

You will actually find that the Scots will be canny enough to compete with the Union for links and the support of the Falkland Islands should they achieve independence.

Lets face it, in 1982, the Scots Guards who had been taken from ceremonial duties, kicked the shit out of some of Argentinas best soldiers on Tumbledown. Just imagine what they would have been like had they returned from a war zone rather than ceremonial duties before they had sailed to the Falklands?

Poor deluded Dany - or are you just terminally THICK ?
You just don't have an effing clue about how the UK works. Yes the Scots and the English bicker, quarrel and insult each other like any family but if external threats arise, then we close ranks tighter than a shark's arsehole at 60 fathoms - that's watertight.

However, I think that the Scots are more likely to want to kick the shit out you of than the English. The English are a bit more diplomatic - we prefer violence - it's one of our country's less endearing qualities but useful at times when twats like you mouth off..

@194 Clyde . Argentinas claim to the Falklalnds is of course ludicrous
So lets imagine a similar situation by the Scots Foriegn Ministry in the event of Scotlands independence
“Comminque No 1. To the colonists of Panama. We demand the immediate tranfer of the land you occupy to the soveriegn government of Scotland whose cityzens were illegally ejected by your Spanish predeccesors in 1699. As we regard your seccesion from the Republic of Colombia as illegal we propose to initiate talks on the return of sovriegnty to this government with the Columbian authorities”
    Ridiculous ?

I have never drunk yerba mate in my life and see no need to do so.

I'm not afraid of the English. Why should I be. I live quite contentedly with them in the UK. They are no threat to me as we are mainly the same people with some regional differences.
It's you and the Argentine govt. who seem to be scared shitless of the “English”(British)and the huge military force “threatening” them from the Falklands.
As a soon to be Muslim yourself Dany, you will be forbidden alcohol. Order you pyjamas now.

I see your colonial expansion genes are showing. Now you want to take over Panama - at least you have a better chance of this than getting your hands on the Falklands.

That seems an Argie police station with 4 planes.

“to be scared shitless of the “English””

Who is sacred of the English? You perhaps?

No Panama but I thinking in Scotland that would be pretty easy to invade.

But thinking again what Scotland would be useful for?

At least Panama has the canal...

    @200 redpoll,
    “bint” is Arabic.
loosely translated as daughter, can be used as girl.
lts the feminine of “bin” as in bin Laden, son of Laden.
British & Australian soldiers picked it up in Egypt, probably in WWI.
lts dying out now, l think.
l haven't heard it for years now.

I see your cognitive processes have not improved since your last post and seem to be in parallel with the slide in the Argentine peso. By my reckoning, you must be 10 centavos short of a peso - this is a generous estimate.

Now lets try and answer your garbled posting.

We have “weather” and have learned to adapt to it over the years. That is why the Falkland Islanders have made a success of THEIR little group of islands. A land quite unsuitable for wimps of Argentinians, who, on their last mass visit complained of the cold incessantly.
One can eat very well in the UK with a wide choice of foodstuffs.
It's the Argentine govt. who are quoting our “ Britain's huge powerful military force” in the Falklands.
As you don't seem to think it is any threat, please inform your govt. that an Argie. police station could handle them. End of your worries.
“Who is sacred of the English? You perhaps?”
Difficult to answer, probably St. George - certainly not me. However, the English do not go much for Catholic saints.
Scotland would be pretty easy to invade. Depends who is doing the invading. The English tried it for centuries as did the Romans before them and came to the conclusion that it was better to join with them than have a destructive war that would never end.
However, I think you mean the Argentine.
That is beyond laughable and proves you have slate missing!. We would even let you ashore and politely ask the English to stay out of it as we could easily handle a bunch of wimps as Tumbledown proved. Your best weren't good enough.
Scotland is useful for producing a tough resilient people who with a tiny population have produced some of the world's best scientists, doctors, engineers and inventors.
I could go on but modesty forbids.

Argentine's most famous contribution to the world -the tango !!. That may even be Uruguayan.

I'm sorry. I forgot your main characteristics in which you are world leaders. Lying and whining.

Oh, sorry! It should have been 'Liar Of The Desert'!

And if you are not scared shitless it's only because you will be hiding under your daughters dress.

Remember 3 Para, 42 Commando and the Ghurkhas? The British forces that kicked your arses in 1982? They are still available for kicking argies arses again.

There is a growing feeling in the UK that if TMBOA is stupid enough to try it again then the mainland AR should also suffer the same as the Falklands did (there are STILL no Malvinas you twat). I firmly believe this should be the case to lay the responsibility with the people who voted this stupid cow in.

After all, there is no point in having the military in the area and not using them to stop you cowardly twats once and for all.

Yes you do and a load of crap to boot.
Argentina the most powerful country in Europe. HAS THERE BEEN A CONTINENTAL SHIFT ?
If you mean Germany, it is partly because you have the largest population - including 3.5 million Turks who in a few generations will be in the majority -and that Germany had the sense to stay out of major conflicts thereby saving billions. You also managed to get NATO countries to station troops and aircraft (at their expense) to protect you from the Soviet threat post war.
However, to be fair,(a concept alien to you) they are a hard working nation who have supplied products the world wants - except Nostril who includes them with the damned.

Even if your last comment was true, I still wouldn't care.

There are sufficient MP's and Ministers to speak for Scotland in the UK government. You probably do not understand democracy with your background.
The PM, his father was Scottish, Chancellor of the Exchequer, Scottish , Chief Secy. for treasury, Scottish.

For a country with about 8% of the population, we are rather well represented in Parliament, especially as there are almost no Conservative MP's in Scotland.
I think a lot of English would say we are over represented in Parliament and the Cabinet.

Apart from that, we have our own Laws, Education system and Church.which are different from England.
