    So don't build on spec!

The number of new blocks of luxury flats under construction on the coast at Punta Del Este seems to have exceeded the bounds of reason.

As for poor productivity you only have to look at all the ‘workers’ lounging around the sites when you drive past OR the official strikes that seem to pop-up every month to understand where the problems lie.

My Escribana, whose family own an Immobileria (estate agents) told me of some of the prices that are being asked. A minimum of ONE MILLION DOLLARS for what is best described a s a ‘nice’ apartment, but nothing special. Seems overblown from reality to me.

Two years living in Uruguay and Turnip at (1) can't even spell one (1) Spanish word correctly.......
To make things worse; Turnip at (1) makes three (3) spelling mistakes in that one (1) word!

    What a Turnip.....

@2, 4, 6 out of 7! The Carrot in Chief, aka The Biggest Liar on MP, aka I Don't Think!

Oh dear! Touched a nerve have I?

Is that the best you can do regarding the serious situation in Uruguay and the construction industry?

If I was you, and as an atheist thank 'whatever' I am not, I would ‘think’ my attempt to belittle a ‘Turnip’ has failed spectacularly.

Been on the meths have we?

For once, words fail me. Oh no they don’t, I have thought of one: cabrón! And I do believe it is correctly spelt and it works on so many levels, all appropriate to you.

Ha, ha, to the power googol (bet you don’t know what that is even though it is correctly spelt as well!).

    Carrot.
