So, KFCs Sturmabteilung is going to monitor things. Wonder when they will get uniforms like the Nazi SA? Argentina resemble Nazi Germany more and more each day... Big difference is Rg incompetence and corruption amongst senior Rg politicians. When will Rgs wake up?

Genuinely interested in this idea. So, what happens when one of the political groups see prices which they do think represent fair government value? They have a quiet word with the owner of the shop? What happen if the price isn't reduced? I'm looking at this and starting to wince a little. What happens if any of the political groups get a little over zealous and decide to take things into their own hands? WTF is going on in this county

Another excuse to keep the Campora faithful busy.......I guess busing them around the country for every CFK spreech just got too expensive

The reality is that the subsidized items will be the first to go so most people will have to buy a similar unsubsidized product at 50% more

It also makes sense for the store owners to keep limited supplies of the subsidized items in order to sell the other products at higher profit margins ....the government may have to start opening it's own stores to maintain the supply but at least it would give the Campora some real work as store clerks!!!

@6 What you've lost track of is that the majority of argies are psychotic imbeciles. There's a closed circle. From the earliest moments of their lives they are dosed with “food” laced with chemicals and hormones. Demonstrably, and provably, these chemicals and hormones result in birth defects, cancers and neurological defects. Fot those that survive, there is the “education system”. As they continue to ingest these government-approved mind-altering poisons, they are subjected to compulsory “re-education” lectures on a weekly basis. Even after the “re-education” is over, the poison continues. Some individuals are more susceptible than others. Thus groups such as La Campora and Quebracho. Research on individuals in these groups show similar characteristics. Fixation, inability to reason, lack of judgement, an inclination toward mindless violence, a propensity toward obeying anyone who claims leadership. Perfect little unthinking robots.
@9 Chaos is in the interests of Kirchnerism. Time to go in and “restore order”. “Eliminate” the “troublemakers”. Or, in other words, kill those who protest, cow the population into obedience.
@16 Could they be “pole dancers”. Sharpened 12 foot pole onto which each Camporista is lowered ass-first. All poles to be heavily greased so that no-one can cheat. Last one to have the pole exit through the top of their skull is the winner!
@17 Why hasn't she thought of ration books?

22 - Its a bribe for votes and it increases dependency on the state. In the old days people quite rightly used to rely on extended families to spread the burden of child rearing. Life is tough! Why should the 'state' (aka honest hard working tax payers/country's plundered resources) spoon feed people? Shared essential infrastructure sure but a 40% increase in child maintenance?!

    Definition of FASCISM

    1
often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

A GOOD EXAMPLE OF INTELLECTUAL DECADENCE.
As i said in other oprotunities, this is evident that the histerical rejection that planty of people in this forum feel for c. f. k., doesn't let them have enough intellectual honesty, in order to discuss about something so complacated like politic.
Beyond some of the pathetic headlines published by mercopress, like this one, most it's reports are often very camplete, except for some of them which were too partial. In this report, is explained perfectly what c. f. k. thinks about inflation, in fact she did it in planty of oportunities.
If she really believed that the true inflation in the country, is based on the indexes published by indec, all the increases given by the state would have been based on the indec's estatistics, however all the increases were hightly above it's indexes, and even higher than the statistics published by those so called private analsists. So, accept it or not, this evident that she recognizes the problem. You can agree or not on her decisions, but only an injudicious would say that she doens't recognize the problem.
We all know that the most important is not what politicians say, but what they do, c. f. k. sometimes tells just what is convenient for her, like all the rest of the politicians do, however, the most important aren't their omisions, but their actions.
Anyway, it's understandable and expectable that many of the reactionary people who often publish their comments here, and who just insult without proposing any idea, continue making their usuall too partial analysis, or the tipicall ignorant comparisons.
In relation to mercopress, i don't think it lies, or distorts the facts, like clarin, la nación, and perfil often do. Mercopress's problem is that sometimes it publishes too partial analysis, or pathetic headlines, but beyond this fact, i have always thought that if the corporative press that we have in argentina were like mercopress, we would have a serious anti kirchnerist press.

    @Mr Sensitive

We do propose ideas as well as criticize her. The ideas are simple. Dont steal from your country that the state pays you to look after and don't restrict people's liberty. Ideas like that.

CFK is a proven liar, bully and manipulator. Simple

Clarin lies? Ok give me 3 examples of lies. If Clarin etc says CFK is corrupt is that a lie? How is that a lie? She isnt bothering to prove the allegations as slanderous because she cant. Imagine - she could take Clarin to court sue them and achieve a massive victory - and life would apparently be much easier for her . But she doesnt. Why is that?

Axel at least have the courage and integrity to admit that you are pro CFK. A neutral wouldnt give the impression of being so upset by critical comments of her and her gang.

    TOBERS.
I have said in different oportunities in my comments that i am kirchnerist activist, beside i have never believed in neutrality, i only believe in intellectual honesty. The fact that i support c. f. k's government, doesn't mean that i am not going to recognize the negative aspects of her government, like the denounces of corruption cases, or some wrong decisions taken in the past, because i have intellectual honesty, which is something that many of you don't have, that's why you often post every kind of mediocre and ignorant comparisons, based on too partial analysis.
On the other hand, what liberties is c. f. k. restricting, if it soposes that in argentina there is not freedom of press, how is it posible that you can know about the denounces of corruption cases that involve c.f. k's government?, do you realize how ridiculous what you say is?.
I'll give you some examples of lies or distortions.
For example cristina never said that people must be affraid of her, like clarin transmited last year on it's chanel, actually she refered to a judge who was involved in a denounce of corruption, and it was an ironic comment by her.
The indec never said that in argentina people can eat with 6 pesos everyday, like clarin published, it was actually a too partial information.
Beside, it usually publishes about the denounces of corruption cases that involve c. f. k's government, but never publishes anything which can prejudice the oponent politic parties, because some of them are clarin's politic partners, however they say they do independent journalism.
If you want to read serious press, critic of kirchnerism, i recommend you to read the following website, which analyzes the statements of all the politicians, beside, in the case of pagina12, although it is a pro kichnerist newspaper, it's also very critic of many apsects of c. f. k's govt., because it has enough intellectual honesty.

They can see the inflation and insecurity rising but do not, as a rule, know about the La Campora thug issues until they encounter it personally.

    @44 axel

My guess is that for most UK posters here Argentina only registers on our radar because it is the country that continues to bully the FIs. Since your President is the bully-in-chief then of course we are going to express our views of her. We can only compare her behaviour with those countries and histories we know. Perhaps because you live in Argentina her behaviour seems normal, but I promise you it is not. It is a very dangerous thing to lose the rule-of-law. Why on earth would you need La Campora to track prices in shops and what threat is implied to business people who will need to put their prices up because of the rampant inflation? You keep defending her while she leads your nation to economic ruin and at the same time politicises your judiciary so that she can then govern as she pleases. In the long-term this weakens Argentina internationally which means it is even less likely to ever get the FIs so ultimately your loss is our gain.

everyday your country slides further into a dictatorship run by violent nasty thugs and it isn't going to change anytime in the foreseeable future.
As I have said, very soon you'll be looking up to the well run nations of Paraguay and Bolivia and wondering how to strive to be like them.

Not me, at all. And if I was I would not care. I mean the comments on this board. Why do you think I became the great and legendary TTT, who has changed this and other websites forever? I came here with an open mind, criticized my country for things it did to the Falklands, but that was not enough. Not only did I have to perfidiously derogate my country, on everything in every moment (or else I was a CFK “lover”), but even if I did that to placate you intolerant foreigners, you still would have lumped me as a “fool, inferior, greasy, dumb,” argie. Just like you do with Simon and Optimus in spite of them selling their soul for your approval and acclamation.

Since the reasonable route was the road to nowhere with you people, I decided to take the route of Truth. Telling it like it is whether you people like it or not.

The only reason there is fighting here is that you people like talking about our dirty laundry, but get enraged and choleric when others bring your dirty laundry to the fore.

@ 69 This news site focuses on stories about Argentina. It is aimed at English-speaking people and they are free to express their opinion. If you can't handle it you would be better off ignoring the place altogether because the way you write does nothing to elevate your opinion here.

It is true you think the Falklands should remain free from the rule of Argentina; you have expressed that opinion from the start. What do you want? A medal for being rational on that point?

You seem unable to extricate yourself from the inculcated nationalistic idea that any criticism of any aspect of your government means all the British hate every single Argentine. It simply is not true. You also have a tendency to lump all contributors in one handy category of 'all being against you'. Also not true.

If you keep on posting hyperbolical rants you actually work against the people of Argentina rather than change any opinion in a positive way.

Simon and Optimus appear as objective. You are constantly arguing with us only because you try to defend the perverse and criminal acts of CFK by posting irrelevant links or diverting arguments by blaming our society for your problems, and insulting us.

You will never admit being wrong, or take responsibility for the actions of yourself, your country, or your President.

When backed into a corner, your only Defense is, “ we might do bad things, but others do as well”

Not only is that particularly childish, but YOU as a nation, have control over your actions. It does not make your actions morally right, either.

Of Toby of the little brain. About 80% of my clients are Muslim. About 25% of my friends are Muslim and I visit a variety of Muslim countries every year (mainly Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Malaysia, UAE and Indonesia). I have probably been to about 10-12 Muslim weddings in the past five years. I am a white Brit and enjoy the exceptional hospitality that Islam requires my hosts to show me. Believe me I feel far from hated. You clearly know little about Isllm and the view that the Islamic world has of Britain. Masha'Allah

@22 “This pathetic new agency for narrow minded incest people forgot to mention that the announcement was to INCREASE the Child, pregnancy, etc., allowance nearly 40%!!!” Are you naturally mentally deficient or do you have to practise? How nice of the “government” to increase the allowance by 40%. Do you understand that “governments” have NO money? This is even more true of the argie “government” because argieland is broke! Those silly bits of paper that get passed around aren't “money”, they are tokens. The only “money” a government has is the “money” it takes from the people. So, one way or another, tax increases are on the way. But, at the moment, the argie “government” can't take “money” from the people because most of the people only have tokens. IF you're in argieland, all that she's announced is that she's going to take more of your tokens and give them to someone else!
@34 Only 15 spelling or grammatical errors!
@40 Only 8 spelling or grammatical errors!
@44 Only 18 spelling or grammatical errors!
@45 Indeed it does. Bribery, corruption, criminality, degeneracy, depravity, incompetence, larcenous, mendacity, perversion, psychosis, stupidity, war-mongering, xenophobia. And that's just the “government”!
@47 How would you recognise “truth”?
@49 Yes it is. I can't “show empathy back” to someone who hasn't shown empathy in the first place. You say that you can't show empathy to anyone who hasn't “shown empathy back”. Someone has to show empathy first. As far as I can see, that would have to be you.
@52 You don't get it. WE, quite justifiably, hate argieland. WE didn't invade a tiny, peaceful territory. WE didn't occupy it. WE didn't murder 255 British soldiers and 3 Falklanders. WE don't lie about the facts that show who owns the territory. WE don't make provocative statements whilst whingeing and whining. Every argie that supports such actions is a war criminal. And you want us to be considerate of 41 million war criminals?

Contrast that to the million + Argentinians who celebrated in the streets of BA when you surprise attacked a small civilian community on the Falklands, taking their homes, and imprisoning women and children at gunpoint.

Bipolar CFK is re-creating the Chilean JAP's under the worst Gvt. Chile have had in the 70's.....Its were the Juntas de Abastecimeinto y Precios (Supply & Prices Meetings), a political control of micro economy in the country by followers of the disasrous president Allende, wich leads with other measures to a successful black market supplied by the same Gvt. officials that controlled the warehouses....In the other hand , it were used to control the political vote trhough the food provision.....All the shops that denied to join the JAP list weren´t supplied and people who denied to join JAP can´t bought because they hadn´t the JAP oficial notepad with the food assigned to their families for the week.....Any similitude to Cuba...?? Poor Argentines, they don´t deserve that kind of humilliation as the Chilean didn´t deserve before.....
