    Congratulations Chile.

Hopefully you last longer than Argentina (6 years) or Uruguay (4 years). Should help increase Chile's economic and social development even further.

A little bit of trivia, of the 38 countries in this programme, Australia is the only country that does not reciprocate and still requires a visa for US citizens.

Kind of true re Australia but the States in effect does require a kind of visa for those of us in the waiver program - you need to apply for an “approval” through ESTA and pay a small fee. Not like the good old days when you could just get on the plane and complete a true waiver form...

Australia requires a visa for everyone except NZers who also have a right of abode. Are there any countries that offer rights of abode to another's citizens in Latin America?

What's there to see in Australia anyway? Might as well keep your pride and require visas since no one goes there anyway.

toby....perhaps if you stopped sucking your mommas tit milk, crawled out of her basement and travelled out of that shithole mendoza, you would know what the world holds to see not just outside of the Argentina, but even outside of mendoza. Ask momma for permission....or are yuou grounded but being a stupid troll? Do you use her milk to put on her face and let the kitty lick your fuzz of your cheeks? Witch hazel is great for your pimples......don't squeeze them too hard, you may get a headache.

Great that we can move beyond the tit for tat reciprocal silliness.

    2 Austral
“Are there any countries that offer rights of abode to another's citizens in Latin America?”
We can travel between many countries without need of passport. As the Pacific Alliance gets going, I think you will see a move towards complete freedom of movement between the participating countries.

    1 & 2
Please feed Toby, throw him some scraps from your bill-a-bong it costs nothing and is will ease his bitterness some.

PS: Nice to see Piñera stepping out of a gleaming FACh-1 gives the right image.

“what's there to see in Australia?”

It takes a certain type of ignorance to ask that kind of a question. There is something to see and learn in every country of the world, and Australia is one of the richest ecological and geological environments in the world.

The range of unique Marsupials, the great Barrier reef, Uluru, beautiful coastlines, the outback...and extraordinary range of fauna and flora...just for starters.

Add to that some of the architecture in Sydney is awesome.

Nostril, you could make a similar list for Argentina, a different list for the UK, and diverse and educational lists for Vietnam, India, Kenya, Jamaica or even Chad and Bhutan.

What's there to see anywhere? Try it, you might learn something..gotta be better than gobbing off on here from your mums house.

Great, more illegal aliens from Chile, thought it's small, but feel welcome, obama loves you (actually he loves your money).wonderful and also wonderful to spend all your money here. Hey, I like this, because nobody is buying the made in china/bangladesh/vietnam (slavelandia) products as before. Money that could be spent in Chile, ahhh no, come here, soo much cheap, help the people in the United States, create jobs..yeahh.

There is no doubt that Piñera will have discussed the Falklands/Mlavinas matter with the Canadian Prime Minister and have indicated Chile is on side!

Can you try to make more sense. I can usually filter out the gibberish and enjoy the comedy in your comments, but the gibberish to comedy ratio in the comment above is just too high.

    10 Captain Poppy

Dildo is an angry Dutchman who has to travel back to Holland to reset his USA Visa.

I don't think for one second he has any other rights than that in the USA, even though he has a Spanish speaking girlfriend, poor thing.

Now we will get the comeback about not speaking one word of Spanish after two years when he has NO IDEA who much or little I speak!

    Wow,
First Dilma invited to the White house to talk trade, and now Chilé is invited.

But what about Argentina? CFK never seems to be 'invited' anywhere !

I'm sure she'd like some honest trade talks with the USA.

Perhaps Obama is scared by what he might find under Darth Vader's mask??

    Haha whatever mate.

You blatantly lie because you are jealous and upset. It's alright I feel your pain.
You are upset because your parents chose Argentina when they could have emigrated to Australia instead.
You are jealous because you will never travel for the foreseeable future. You government has impoverished you and restricted your freedom too much to be able to.

Guarantee I visit Mendoza before you even leave South America.

    3:
“whats there to see in Australia”? Apart from the delights mentioned in post 7 we can offer the the following incentives - you may purchase as many dollars as you wish, unlimited amounts of sugar and bread and (particularly attractive to Venezuelans) unlimited supplies of toilet paper - triple ply if you prefer. You can even apply for refugee status while you are here. You claim would no doubt be greeted with much sympathy (i'd scrub my computer first though, were I you).

    Well, whatever...
I'm pleased as the damn visas were always a headache to get and the poor American tourists were getting an unexpected “tax” at the airport on the start of their vacation. In the end everyone wins.
As far as Australia, my favorite part is the people as they are extremely friendly.
Let's hope my countrymen don't screw up a good thing.

    16. Me too, that U$100 in U$ cash at Chile customs was a bit annoying! Nobody told me about it, they didn't take credit cards and I didn't have enough U$ on me. I had to go withdraw $ then change it to U$ then pay.
It was kind of ridiculous they didn't take their own currency.

Brazil coming to the USA, now Chile, Uruguay wants talks with the USA, Colombia wants to join NATO, even Venezuela talked recently at cabinet level. Seems like Argentina and Bolivia still fight the good fight.......and stand up against trade and business....the cancer of economics. They have a good start.......collapsing economies and no foreign business.

Rather than shipping them home they shouldn't be entitled to minimum wage, USA gov't benefits etc. I should and I WOULD have staff like I did in Argentina if I could pay someone what they are willing to work for.

Haha now that's funny.. Well stop believing that u sad lil people.. It all started with just a simple question.. If and when would brasil be added to the list.. Then instead of a proper answer a Yankee goes and insults everyone from there. So ok might not be the way u think but in general Americans do think they're better than everyone else. And that's pretty hilarious you know..

26 rather than being an ignorant fool, as you continue to demonstrate in your posts, try what I do. I base my opinions of Argentina from being in Agentina, knowing Argentines and related via marriage. Save for a few like Simon, most Argentines on this site are racists, prejudice imbeciles. Yet, the ones I know, the ones I encounter during my travels are nothing of the sort.
First hand experience goes a long way, but that is something you peronists are incapable of. Stick your head back up your ass.......you need some more cologne.

Haha now I get it.. Ur Argentinian you hate brasil.. Enough said.. So to my first question.. There has been talks and talks about brasil being included in the list.. For years now and still nothing.. I keep hearing it'll happen.. Question is when..
