Falklands: despite MPs criticisms, “UK government wants full bilateral relationship with Argentina”

Friday, September 13th 2013 - 20:36 UTC
Full article 156 comments

A British Conservative Member of Parliament Henry Smith labeled Argentine president Cristina Fernandez as ‘disgraceful’ for how she has treated the people of the Falkland Islands and also claimed she stopped an Argentine prosecutor from testifying before the US congress on the Buenos Aires 1994 bombing of an Israelite mutual association in order to protect a growing alliance with Iran. In terms of being walked all over, I would say that we are walked over the least. When I see Spain grovelling to them after they stole Repsol, it is pitiful to watch and other South American countries forced to agree with their stance on numerous issues out of fear of economic reprisals and protectionist measures.
Ultimately time will run out for Kirchner and she will be living in exile with her extorted millions along with hector as her cabana boy.

I have no sympathy for the Argentines, they deserve every bit of the misery that is fast approaching them. Crime only pays whilst you are getting away with it and like most criminals when the collapse comes, they will just be sorry that they got caught, they won't be sorry.

@8, 10 Talking of crimes, who does this make you think of? 1. Invading another country illegally; 2. Occupying it illegally; 3. Ignoring a binding Security Council resolution; 4. Starting a war; 5. Celebrating being defeated in a war it says it didn't start; 6. Choosing to issue bonds in another jurisdiction that it never had any intention of repaying; 7. Forcing a majority of bondholders to accept a “restructuring” that should have been called a “theft”; 8. Presenting specious arguments in court when called to account; 9. Publicly stating that it will not comply with the judgement of the court; 10. Presenting irrelevant and unprovable arguments at appeal; 11. Lying about economic data; 12. Lying about historical data; 13. Lying about environmental data; 14. Lying about industrial data; 15. Lying about in-country democracy; 16. Breaching the UN Charter; 17. Breaching international law; 18. Deliberately contaminating foodstuffs intended for export; 19. Engaging in deliberate fraud; 20. Engaging in deliberate theft; 21. Impeding neighbouring countries with lies and browbeating.

Who does it make you think of?

We are playing the long game. It works. It has always worked for us because it is how adults deal with such situations.

The CFK and her band of twits are like a group of teenagers all belligerence, tantrums, instant gratification, egocentric and rebellious. But when dealing with teenage children the adults always keep open lines of communication because eventually the teenagers grow out of it and become human again.

    CFK won't be there forever.

@16 So what if the Argentine government is thumbing their nose at the world? What would you suggest? They are harming themselves far more than anyone else.

Ultimately as long as the Argentines do not try to invade the Falklands, that is the only real issue for the UK government. As they do not have the ability to do that and their PR campaign has achieved absolutely nothing but ridicule, we don't need to do anything.

The debt issue will reach a conclusion that will have a dramatic effect on the people of Argentina. If you had spoken to the people that suffered the last time, you would not be wishing it on them. One thing we most definitely do not need to be is an EXCUSE. The EXCUSE for the Argentine government to blame for all the shit that is going to happen. Let them take responsibility for it.

They will eventually have to leave the G20 because of their own actions and that is exactly how it should happen.

    Hello Everyone,

Sorry to be so reiterative, but most of what of had been stated here hitherto is merely hot air. And as I’ve said so many times before, the nature of Britain’s ongoing relationship with Argentina will be determined by the dictates of ECONOMIC EXPEDIENCY (To wit, me Lud, “What International Big Business wants”) with little regard given to justice or social morality. Of course, CFK and her crooked cohorts are perfectly aware of this fact and that also, present and probably long-lasting, international instability will permit them to proceed with their present pernicious prevarications with impunity and presumably well into the foreseeable future.

The only possible way I can see that general public may hope have at least some limited influence on the multinational monopolies’ behaviour and of that of their market allies, is by massive consumer pressure. That’s to say, by doing summat similar to the recent partial boycott of the UK’s, tax dodging Starbucks; or by acting along the lines of the ongoing US workers’ fight to get decent conditions and pay from Walmart, et cetera. And if such demonstrations could be staged on an international, ‘Save the World / Band Aid’ scale, so much the better!

What definitely IS CERTAIN, is the fact that a few bigmouthed, semi educated screwballs shooting off a load rhetorical refuse on this obscure Webpage will have no effect whatsoever on world events. But the frequent gratuitous, tedious tirades over laden with inane insults one reads here, CERTAINLY DO seem to needlessly upset so many of us –simply to pander to immature instincts of tiny yet vociferous, mindless minority.

    Cheers!

    Jim, in Madrid.

The problem is that the rgs and economists think that their last default saved them. They think that defaulting is good. Anyway they pay cash for everything so they don't need a credit rating. Their credit rating could not be lower anyway.

Who cares about the Falklands. The main thing is that the rgs not be allowed to default. America should put sanctions on rg now.

So the rgs will not be hurt but the bond holders will.

We are supporting rg membership of g20.

@27 I think the comments on the article (from The Guardian for Chrissakes - whichs has a few elements of “The British are Complete Bastards” among its contibutors) are more telling. This is from some from Ascension Island

”This article really doesn't paint a picture of the Ascension Island I call home. We don't rely on American handouts to avoid scurvy, many people from both the UK and St Helena have their families here (not just the headteacher), and it must be one of the safest places on Earth to raise a teenage girl. The culture of discrimination against Saints that is implied is fanciful; people of St Helenian extraction hold many of the senior positions within government and make up the entire Island Council. Recent job cuts at Interserve reflect spending cuts across the armed forces: the result of global economics rather than a conspiracy to oust the local population. The only genuine issue raised is that of right of abode, which is a longstanding debate with sound arguments on both sides. If this is the only source of information that readers are basing their comments on I would urge you to do more research, or, even better, visit the Island and talk to some of the largely contented population.”

    So there! ;-)

    ..
    The yo yo effect---

Sadly the British seem, again, to be split in two,
Divided between those who want the Argies punished, [MPs?]
And some, who regardless of how bad one is, is determined to trade with them,
    [The famous foreign office]
    But this is nothing new,
We see it all the time,
    Your rights, as people,
    And trade rights to profit..
    ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
This is my house, its my castle, I have rights,
    Until the government thinks otherwise,
And when it suits them, your rights don’t exit, [compulsory purchase]

What has this to do with CFK,
    Trade=business

Nothing but nothing interferes with business =profit=money??

In other words, Henry Smith was correct in his opinion and should well be acted on.
However Foreign Office Minister Alistair Burt said=
UK intended to develop its bilateral relations with Argentina.
He said: “This Government has always been clear that it would like a full, bilateral relationship with Argentina. As a country full of natural resources, Argentina has the potential to be a key trading partner with the United Kingdom in the future

Two sides of the same coin, two different aims.
    [well]
    That’s what it seems like,
Just a thought and probably way out….

WHAT HAS CHANGED AFTER THE REFERENDUM.
Beyond the lies and too partial truths that smith expressed in his statement before the british parliament, it would be interesting whether we all wonder what has changed after the so called referendum.
Did the u. n. apply finally the right to self determination in it's resolutions in relation to the malvinas-falklands cause?, did the u. n. decide to stop considering the malvinas-falkland cause as a special case, as it has always done since 1965?, the answers are as obvious as the strategy of the referendum.
It was expectable that nothing was going to change, in fact, the islanders have always known it, because people aren't stupid, i have no doubt that they have always known perfectly that if this cause has been a case of self determination, the u. n. would have never considered the malvinas-falkland cause as a special case since 1965, beside, it would have applied the right to self determination for the population fron the islands, as it did with other colonial situations.
Anyway, the end of this conflict is still opened, because it depends on the strategies that both countries implement for this case.
Respecting smith's lies, it's necesary to tell him that if argentina hadn't had any political will of paying it debts, it would have never made any debt restructuring and he knows it, but he needs to express such a decadent and demagogical statement, because he doesn't tolerate the fact that argentina is not nobody's backyard anymore, and it's not a submited country to the caprices of financial sistem, which is destroying millions of jobs in europe.

    To All,

First, may I say that I wholeheartedly concur with the comment on the miserable plight suffered for so many decades now, by the LOYAL, former inhabitants of Diego García –an absolute imperial disgrace, CLANDESTINELY wrought in order to curry favour with the US govt, in the UNKNOWING name of the British people, by a devious former Labour administration, lead by the late Harold Wilson.

Some infer that I’ve insulted them. In fact, ‘There’s now’t that hurts so much as the TRUTH’!

What’s the point in gratuitously insulting ALL Argentineans, thus alienating even those who fundamentally, wish Britain and all other democratic countries, well? (and there ARE some, of course)

Ought we not simply to calmly state our case and make it clear that –if required– we’ll maintain it, by adequate military force?

But I wonder just how many of our post teen-aged, chinless diplomats genuinely understand our South American ‘amigos’ and their cultural nuances?. Do they know that certain British Army Units are STILL entitled to march through the streets of Caracas, with their bayonets fixed and beating their drums? –an honour conferred by the great Bolivar himself, by granting them the Freedom of the City, in gratitude for their helping Venezuela to gain its independence from Spain. Maybe we should go about calling in a few very old debts? (JOKE)

How many Britons realize that at least one of the ferries still in use on Andean Lake Titicaca, was built in and launched in Scotland in the 19th century? Subsequently, it was dismantled, shipped to Argentina and transported in bits, overland by train, mules and whatnot, to its destination, where it was reassembled. And of course, we built virtually the entire South America Railway Network. Then, in the 1920’s the big US firms muscled in and took everything over.

So perhaps it would be better if we were to painstakingly attempt renew our centuries’ old cordiality with our former Latin-American friends and clearly tell them that, whils

More ignorance! Patagonia is an area originally, largely settled by Jews –from who’s traditional baggy trousers, et cetera, the present-day Gaucho dress derives– and above all, a region irrigated, cultivated and exploited by the Welsh, who during much of the 19th century could not be forced to join Argentina’s armed forces, thanks to British Imperial Protection.

Furthermore the whole disparate bunch has long since intermarried, even welcoming a large number of Italian, ‘Giovanni Come-Latelies’ into the fold –as the ancient Spanish adage so aptly has it, “La jodienda no tiene enmienda”,

So I fear that our European, Hebrew and Indigenous forebears have woven so intricate and multicoloured a cloak, that it will defy unpicking by even the deftness hand of the most honourably ardent anti-colonialist.

Below is a prime example of the latest RG brainwashing technique. Focusing on the future financial benefits to the RG ppl if they steal the Falkland Islanders resources. The article doesn't even mention the islanders!

'Falklands planetary final frontier of natural resources - Argentines are now much more aware of the huge value it has and it will Malvinas in the not too distant future. 've managed to start integrating the passion and the feelings aroused by that portion of our territorial identity to a social vision pragmatic and committed to the sustainable development and peace .
Fortunately we are increasingly those who know that Malvinas is not a fad, instead it is a huge window of opportunity that can transform our production structures and impact decisively on the dream of upward social mobility, work and industrial development . This is an endemic phenomenon of consciousness without return. Precisely because we now know that Malvinas is not an archipelago. Malvinas is a geographic system without hesitation that we can call “the last frontier planet of natural resources”...'

    49 Think and Everyone,

I’m not an historian nor have I access to any of the many magnificently erudite tomes which tell the fascinating story of America’s colonization. I understand that even the ‘native’ Indians originally invaded the New World from their previous homelands in the Far East???

What I say is entirely taken from VERY OLD, personal memories and at 81, I fully accept that I MAY make the occasional mistake of detail. However, I think you’ll all find that MOST of my assertions are substantially accurate. Furthermore, I should NEVER DARE to neither contradict nor much less, insult, anyone who’s able to amend a possible error on my part. Rather, I should warmly thank him for his help!

Regarding the Jews in Pategonia... I DID intimate –maybe not clearly enough– that they’d been integrated into and perhaps completely lost, in the present Patagonian cultural mix.

As recently as the 8th century, the Moors –actively aided by Jews– ruled most of Iberia. Yet surprisingly few traces of their places of worship survive to tell the tale.

Before quitting the enthralling world of ‘Tales of Patagonia’, what do you know of its being the last great hideout of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid? Or is that gripping yarn of Wild West murder and mayhem just far too off topic for this mundane forum?

    Cheers!

    Jim.

    49 Think.

    Jewish Gauchos.

Back again and bowing before your obviously superior firsthand knowledge of the matter, I’ve had a look around and found this:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_gauchos

However, certain other sources reckon that the characteristic ‘baggy Gaucho trousers’ derive from the dress worn by Spaniards of Moorish origin. Of course, for several centuries now, the Jews have been –and still are– one of Morocco’s and Spain’s and Gibraltar’s, most influential ethnic groups, so perhaps that fact makes another at least tenuous connection, between the Patagonian Gauchos and the Jews?. By the way Morocco is now legally speaking, a NON CONFESSIONAL kingdom.

Finally, may I say that it’s truly a pleasure to find a person with whom one may enjoy an interesting, RATIONAL conversation

    Cheers!

    Jim.

@15 Okay, one more clue. At the moment it is a very “temporary” member of the UN Security Council. It “held” the chair for one month in August. Couldn't be allowed longer in case it stole the chair!
@18 I don't think you should refer to tiny, mindless minorities while you're in Spain.
@21 WE care about the Falklands. I wonder what sort of mindless ignoramus would support argie membership of anything?
@27 Quite a funny little article you linked. I thought the funniest bit was the idea that Britain would abandon Ascension Island once the St Helena airport is built. Like that airport could cope with RAF refuelling.
@30 Only if argieland tries to invade. But it won't. It doesn't have a ship that could make it all the way across the ocean without breaking down or rolling over.
@34 I think you're “improving”. You're definitely a bigger and more stupid arse than you used to be. By the way, every word Mr Smith said is true!
@35 If you'd like things to be different, tell your argie pals to piss off. While you're at it, tell them to pay their debts.
@40 What a shame that you don't blame “every single Argentinean”. They are actively or passively responsible. That's the way it is when you don't try to stop something.
@42 Congratulations. It takes real, sustained effort to be a total prat. But you've managed it!
    @44 Fiction!
    @45 Dummy!
@50 Maybe you should learn about how English is spoken. You might look less of a fool. But it's doubtful.
@55 Sorry, sonny, your incredible attempt to recover your credibility has failed. It might have been better if you'd intimated that Patagonia was settled by Martians or the inhabitants of the planet Zog from the 4005th continuum. Jimmy Hanley was a fine actor. You aren't.

    49 Think.

    Jewish Gauchos –more.

My LAST comment here ‘cos all this is banter has become childishly tedious, especially thanks to the offstage chorus of the usual idiots who –too stupid to contribute anything worthwhile– must content themselves with infantile insults such as those denigrating my being aged. Perhaps it’s a good thing I ain’t a babe in arms or a pregnant woman, ‘cos if I were, I’d REALLY be in for some stick!

The relevant Wikipedia entry gives a list of provinces ‘AMONG OTHERS’ settled by the Russian Jews. –I’m a big boy who CAN read properly and in several languages, too! Furthermore –all over the world– cattle herding was always an itinerate occupation. In the 19th century (when I was a lad in Wales –JOKE!) our cattle was still being driven on foot, overland, to markets in places as far afield as London. US cowboys used to herd cattle from rural Texas to the railhead at Chicago (incidentally, that’s where the ill-fated Lehman’s Bank originated –it was founded by a family of Jewish grain merchants, in the Windy City). Even the Spaniards had their “Transhumancia”, during which, they drove their livestock huge distances across this country, to take advantage of better summer / winter grazing. To this day cattle are permitted to transit Madrid’s principal thoroughfares and on certain, ceremonial occasions, still do so in large numbers. And so on, ad infinitum...

Therefore, it ain’t impossible that some of the ‘Jewish Gauchos from Russia’ settled in La Patagonia or subsequently arrived in the province, as part of their habitual, herding work. Anyway and maybe I’m mistaken but I’ve often thought that the Gauchos’ voluminous pantaloons are not terribly dissimilar from those sported by the Cossacks and other horsemen of the Steppes.

So why not tell us all about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? At least it would be more interesting tale than this dismally boring polemic.

    Cheers!

    Jim, in Madrid.

We have undoubtedly had an important influx of Jews in Argentina especially in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Entre Rios and Santa Fe...
Those places are some 1,000 miles away from Patagonia though...(Roughly the distance between Madrid and Cardiff if memory serves me right….)
Besides, the English masters of Patagonia during the XIX and early XX centuries didn't want unruly Jewish gauchos down here.....
They much preferred the docil Chilean huasos they could exploit at will...
Therefore, Jewish presence (past and present) in Patagonia is, for all practical purposes, negligible........

    Just a very last comment,

If you’ll pardon my pitiful cowpoke’s pun, ‘Of course, it’s always best to get one’s news straight from the horse’s mouth!’

However, regarding the distance between B.A. and Patagonia, it’s probably FARTHER between the Southern and Western cattle breading regions of the U.S. and Chicago. So perhaps you oughtn’t to be so terribly taxative in your assumption that the Jewish Gauchos never reached Patagonia. After all, those old pioneering people were really tough characters! And Messrs Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid manage make their way from the U.S to Patagonia, by one means or another.

And I’m still fascinate by the TRUE origin of those ‘baggy pants’...

    Anyhow,

    The Best of Luck!

Chancellor with Lula and Dilma Defense Minister, Celso Amorim explained why South America needs a common vision based defense cooperation and the preservation of natural resources ~
... You mean the South Atlantic and the case of the Falklands in the South Atlantic?
-Well, it has to do with the South Atlantic. Our position on Falklands is well known and I have no need to repeat it. Always defended Argentina's rights and a negotiated solution. But the South Atlantic, beyond the very important issue of the Malvinas, has other major problems. There are key routes. Keys to Argentina, of course, but as defense minister of Brazil speak that a huge proportion of our foreign trade is on the Atlantic. And our oil suppliers, because we can not yet self-sufficiency and there are different types of crude oil, are Nigeria, Angola, Algeria ... Transportation in all cases passes through the South Atlantic. Also, as you know, Brazil has a very close relationship with Africa. It is a historical relationship that becomes more and more important, which leads us to have greater cultural and economic presence. All the more reason, then, to worry about the South Atlantic. Now, we want to ensure the safety of the South Atlantic just to the South Atlantic countries. From the geopolitical point of view of course the cooperation of the countries of the west coast of Africa and South American countries. All up the area of the South Atlantic Peace. These days in Brazil will make very important seminar in Salvador, Bahia. The Argentina will participate with a lecturer. So we want to keep the South Atlantic as a zone of peace, cooperation, free of weapons of mass destruction...'

Next year the Scottish people will self-determine their future.

This referendum will ask the Scottish people if Scotland should be an independent country.

According to axel arg...if the Scottish people vote “no”, and then Scotland remains part of the UK. the fact that the people of Scotland have voted for no change, and got no change is somehow a failure..

    He is a weirdo!

The Falkland Islanders, much like the Scots, also had a chance to self-determine their future, and chose by enormous majority for nothing to change, and as axel arg notes..nothing has.

Should Scotland chose independence, or even to be a part of Norway or France or perhaps a state of a new European Superstate...fine...ITS THEIR CHOICE.

Should the Falkland Islanders chose independence or to be part of Argentina its THEIR CHOICE.

Certainly, it is not the choice of an “international outlier” and “disgraceful” country like Argentina to choose. Based on a made of claim of made up events in November 1832-january 1833.

The only Argentine who should have a say would be descendents of Esteban mestevier, the only ever Argentine appointed governor of the Falklands, murdered by his on men, and wife raped, a few days after landing.

As with the Falklands, the dirty war, the internation default (twice), the cowardice and deceit, these things Argentina should be ashamed and apologetic for...sadly, whilst imbeciles like Axel lap up their governments lies...they never will be.

The reason you're a racist Stevie, is that as you've clearly stated, you believe that some people in Southern America have lesser rights than the descendants of the Iberian conquistadors, because of their cultural and ethnic origin.

    98 Stevie,

Re: “British invasion of YOUR peace”:

Your vaingloriously presumptuous assertion is utterly ludicrous!!!

    What PEACE de enjoy? when…

Every ‘informed’ person knows that Argentinean’s Fascist regime runs one of the world’s biggest food exporting nations, yet leaves those such as its indigenous northern peoples to suffer severe malnutrition. Of course, Fernández de Kirchner and her crooked cohorts’ government are not the world’s only ‘high minded moral fraudsters’ who couldn’t care less about their ‘undeserving, unwashed serfs’ pathetic plight. The attitude of the ruling elite in places as diverse as, China, Guatemala, Paraguay, Peru, Russia & many others, is equally odious.

A U.S. gov’t report recently cited by Merco Press, says that more than ever of that country’s citizens, including millions of minors, subsist below the poverty line.

Judging by the ever increasing number of the U.K.’s Food Banks, extreme working-class hardship in Greece, Portugal, Spain, etc., etc., we in Europe certainly cannot afford to be complacent. And it’s better not to even mention the predicament of the Third World’s children.

Meanwhile, the world’s wealthiest ten percent, continue profiting from the ‘CRISIS’ and are richer than ever!!!

All this sounds like cheap, pedantic rhetoric. Perhaps it is. BUT IT’S ALSO ABSOLUTELY TRUE!!!

So instead of alleviating your deep-seated inferiority complexes by exchanging so many asinine, schoolyard insults, perhaps some of you lads should spend a little time in the countries and regions I’ve named, get to know their inhabitants and learn to see things through the eyes of others. For the longer we the masses continue to be brainwashed by the Popular Media, the longer we shall be manipulatively governed to suit the Multinational Big Bankers’ self-serving whims!!!

I will respond to you in this manner:- South American Logic mixed with actual Humour and genuine fairness.

Tell you what lets strike a deal, if we relocate all Falkland Islanders back to old Britain, then you have to dismantle your illegal colonial states and all residents of those states must relinquish all their holdings to people with predominately indigenous decent, all citizens of South America must then trace there roots back to their nearest home nation in the old world, move there and that way we have total colonial fairness.

If the Falkland Islanders have to go for their colonial inheritance, then so do you. Back to Europa you must go, back to the old world where you belong.

In fact if we are honest the Falkland islanders have 100x the right to stay as they built their home on uninhabited land.

    Re: “Brits should go home”:

I’ts a good thing that you cunningly elected to EXCEPT your own ethnic origin (JOKE!) ‘cos maybe you should think of shipping all your capital city’s inhabitants back here to Spain? For Montevideo was founded by settlers from the Canary Islands and they did so, A LONG TIME AFTER THE BRITISH ARRIVED IN THE FALKLANDS!!!

Frankly, I fail to see why the Falklanders –who have as much (and as little) right to be on the continent as any other non-indigenous peoples (who invaded America from Asia, anyway)–, should succumb to their huge neighbour’s greedy imperial ambitions.

Most politically aware Latin Americans, to whom I talk, agree that Argentina has long been feared– not only as the regional superpower– but as one with an obvious, expansionist agenda, too. And YOU above all, must SURELY know that if Fernández de Kirchner thought that she could invade and conquer Uruguay without risking too many ‘inconvenient’ international repercussions, she’d do so, tomorrow.

And you must also know that in spite of the recent, much trumpeted talk of LatAm solidarity, there’s scant chance of turning the rhetoric into reality –not least because of the longstanding distrust and enmity which exists between counties such as Chile, Bolivia, Peru and others, as the result of yet unforgotten, 19th century wars, some of which also involved Argentina.

Naturally, the British gov’t and its Banker backers know all this too. And the only thing that’s likely to modify their policy toward S. America is the prospect of making MONEY, the easier and the less ethically, the better.

Personally, I reckon we’re ALL fighting the WRONG enemy...

In July 1970 Dan Mitrione, an American policeman on loan to the Uruguayan security forces, and Aloisio Gonide, the Brazilian consul in Uruguay, were kidnapped and held for ransom. When the government refused to parley with the Tupamaros, they killed Mitrione, a move that was to cost them considerable public support.“

I think history has shown that the Tupo were nother more than a gang of idiots who started off well enough but lost it. They were killed or fled and left the Military in charge which must have been the worst scenario possible for the poor people you claim needed social inclusion; they had even less than before the Tupos stuck their oar in. “Mitrione was an OPS officer for the USAID who presided over numerous sessions of torture and murder and expanded kidnapping and torture techniques instructing, supplying and encouraging the Uruguyan military and police to use such techniques to wipe out egalitarian and indigenous movements. Nealon makes no mention of Mitrione's bloody role much less the US's brutal role in propping and up and supporting a murderous authoritarian regime in Uruguay.”

And you Sir, are parrotting Nealon.

    @152

Isn't it amazing how there was never any indigenous Latam fascist authoritarianism, it was all brought down by North Americans. And here we have just one bloke who somehow managed to corrupt an entire country.

    Look in the mirror, Stevie.

As far as I see, you’re digging yourself ever deeper into a great intellectual pit of your own making. So don’t bother to reply –I’ve had more than enough of your vacant claptrap.

    Cheers!
