The next call for applications, for the 2014-2015 scholarships, ends on 15 November 2013. Information on how to apply can be found in the Chevening Scholarships website

Just as long as she's got more traffic sense than the Chilean marathon runner who I nearly squished last year.

Bit of a waste of time. At what point in recent time has Uruguay engaged in “diplomacy”? It just does as it's told. Still, eventually Uruguay may get someone better than Pepe la Puke. He gets his “gut” because of gravity. He's on his hands and knees a lot. Will these two young ladies herald a thrust toward proper “diplomacy”. The same sort that ended with the destruction of the nazi “Graf Spee”. That was when Uruguay was a moral country with proper values.
