“Bachelet had supported President Piñera’s decision to close the Cordillera Jail” ... yet she did nothing whilst president. Seems to be a habit.

    Cordillera Jail:
    Bachelet: open
    Piñera: closed

    HidroHysen:
    B: open
    P: close

    Pascua Drama:
    B: open
    P: close

    Military copper law:
    B: open
    P: close

    Education:
    B: not an extra cent
    P: $6 billion increase

    Growth:
    B: slow
    P: fast

    Mapuche conflict:
    B: application of terrorist powers
P: application of terrorist powers ...

... some common ground at least.

I can definitely feel that Bachelet is well past her peak. I think her polling numbers are all headed south, so is there enough time for Evelyn to close the gap? So far her campaign has been less than stellar but I think people are getting wise to Bachelet and her cronies.

    @2 TCP
I doubt she can close the gap.
I find that during the campaign she has toned down her style and talked in politically correct language - all necessary to widen her appeal but she has lost one of her main assets, her combative style.

    @3 Think

“Mueran los rotos del penal Cordillera.....
Mueran los rotos de Pascua Lama...
    Mueran los rotos de Hidroaysen...”

I didn't have you down as a Piñera supporter.

PS: Looks like Pascua Drama is back on.

Nope, Condorito.... ManRod comment was in Spanish....

And commenting in Spanish on a pure Chilean Article with only Spanish speaking commentators is more than our dear “Editor” can endure....

    “Remember the rules....:”

    4) Rude or foul language, discriminative comments based on ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, sexual orientation or any other offensive or inappropriate behaviour will be standard fare from the racist Argentine Trolls like “Think”

    It couldn't be clearer (claro).
The editors are publishing a site specifically for an English-speaking audience and it must remain inclusive to all English speakers, whether the Argentine Trolls would prefer otherwise or not.

It was me who requested the editor to remove Man Rod's 'non-English' post, as it did not conform to guidelines for contributors as deliberately stated by the Publisher.

I find “El ThinkVoiceOver” to be very offensive, insulting, and racist, but “our dear Editor” seems to able to “endure” your wingeing and feigned martyrdom just fine.
