First off, who exactly is UNASUR liberating?

    And from whom?

Secondly, Peru, Chile and Colombia are equals within UNASUR and only constitute 1/4 of its membership. So how are they controlling the 9 other members?

Mercosur will soon constitute half of UNASUR's members when Bolivia joins. And if you include Ecuador clearly constitutes a majority.

Maduro has already invited Trinidad and Tabago to join.

Out of Mercosur, UNASUR, ALBA, CAN and the Pacific Alliance; only one group is making major advances and strides towards integration.

A hint..... it isn't Mercosur, UNASUR, ALBA or CAN!

@2 @3.. There is not much analysis here. Listen you just can’t take seriously what this man says, he is not a snake like Maduro, Chavez, Correa or Cristina, he is harmless and simple. No clue whatsoever of what he is doing. He is actually highlighting the insecurity that exists in the UNASUR about the success of the Pacific Alliance without even knowing. If heard him giving written statements in Spanish, the poor guy doesn’t even know how to read fluidly... for goodness sakes !

You should really read up about Morales before making comments that so clearly puts you in a xenophobic light...

You could always start with checking up what languages the man DOES speak...

Everytime this guy opens his mouth, out comes the same old horse sh*t. He has been trying to sell his conspiracy crap for a while now, unfortunately he does have some followers. Anyhow we certainly don't want him in the alliance so he is irrelevant to us. As for the alliance we have a new member , Costa Rica. Panama is also wanting to join and unfortunately Guatemala is as well. The bad part is that we have visa free entry and I'm not sure if I want all those Guatemalan gangs coming in. As for Ecuador, Mercosur is probably a better fit for them.

@7 You mean he “speaks”? I thought there was somebody just pulling strings. You have to admit he has a major credibility gap. Did he not begin his “political” career by becoming a “fixer” and organiser for narcotics suppliers? Cocalero, wasn't it? I take it that the “languages” he speaks best are cash and guns! One presumes that, as president, he is now a real “drug lord”. Perhaps, if he quit using the product, he'd make more sense. He could probably avoid a lot of the delusions as well. Then he wouldn't keep making such a prat of himself!

Mayority of South American countries belongs to several organizations, and in some instances some countries are part of 2-3 organizations within such organizations.
Frankly, such affairs orgnizations are tea parties organizations, because their officers travels for meetings to several host countries every 2-3 months, to create more disagreements among them, just like each country with several political parties, in fact larger in numbers than their soccer teams.
Not wonder why the EU wants to trade and negociate with Brazil only instead with Mercosur organization.
Now, where does the money come from to host and to cover all travel and hotel accomodation expenses? Is the money allocated already on each country's national budget? Is the money from the poor's pocket?
Can we see a list of their organizations accomplishments ? or it is simply a way of waste money and time ?

Being a sovereign nation is not a prerequisite for the Pacific Alliance. The prerequisite for inclusion is a free trade agreement with all other members.
