Chileans went to the polls Sunday and chose to send Michelle Bachelet and Evelyn Matthei to a runoff election with 46.7% and 25% of the vote respectively, but abstention far outstripped them both — less than half the number of voters on the electoral roll cast a vote. Read full article

    Winners: DNV
    Second : Left coalition
    Third: Right Alliance
    Fourth: The 'field'.

Still, to come second with a platform 'Free higher education for everybody' is some commitment.
And what if everybody actually did claim their free higher education? - destroyed economy; national bankrupcy; rock bottom educational standards (yup, have seen it happen elsewhere).

    But I guess its all for the best possible socialist reasons;
    so that's all right, then.

    Don't forget Brotherly Love!

I do sometimes despair why the people of SA act in such a rediculous way. They can't ALL be stupid, can they? Or are they all so frightened of private business that they think the owners earn huge profits for nothing?

Chrissy, remember: Whenever you want to call people on their stupidity, make sure not to sound stupid yourself. I know that when it comes to you this is almost like asking the fire to be wet. But. Do. Try. For example - it's “rIdiculous”, not “rediculous”. On a thread you call South Americans stupid, it's inexcusable to allow yourself to be corrected by one of them in your own language.

Or 333 would be nearer the truth, being a little devil. 666 being reserved for the real devils.

OHHHH! Are you in for it now? Is that the best you can do? Nitwit picking over a slip on the keyboard?

Your post at 1) in another topic said... the Britards cannot pint (sic) at...

I think you meant POINT as in finger, not PINT as in liquid measure.

But, being you, I may be mistaken. Ha, ha, ha.

I know you are desperate to “put one over on me” as we say, but surely you can come up with a reasoned argument at some time in the future!

If it is the same person using the tag Forgetit86, he used to be capable of good, sound argument, especially when it came to economics.
I note elsewhere that Fido has suddenly become good on economics.
    I wonder ...
