Mercosur and EU to exchange tariff reduction proposals in early February

Paraguay's Foreign minister Eladio Loizaga said on Monday that at the latest in early February Mercosur and the European Union would be exchanging their tariff reduction proposals for the much delayed free trade agreement. The deadline originally was December but it was delayed on request from Brussels. Read full article

    Free trade to include the EU overseas territories such as Falkland Islands is a must for any negotiation, including respect of boundaries of any and all EU overseas territories, including Falklands. Filmus' rants that Falklands oil explorers are criminals should cause EU to put a halt to any further discussions that would include Argentina until and unless those rants stop.

    Free trade is what they are negotiating,
    not 'tariff reduction'.

    And, yes, The Falkland Islands are within the deal.
