The current investigation into the malfeasance within Petrobrás is just the tip of the iceberg as far as the PT's corruption goes, since they took power in 2003; If the Federal Government doesn't manage to obstruct the investigation, a lot more sh*t is going to hit the fan for the current and ex-high ranking Petistas...

@3 Brasileiro...I am in favour of punishing ALL corrupt civil servants and politicians, regardless of the political party they belong to.....or, do you think I only want to see the Petistas punished ?? The one thing about 99% of the Brazilian politicians have in common is their compulsion to become rich through stealing....Lula did very well for himself, as so did many petistas, after they formed the government in 2003.....and considering that while opposition they claimed to be most honest, ethical party that ever existed, is why they should be made an example of, now.

Leave it to the government apparatchiks to get out of this one... they've been like Teflon for the past 11 years. This case shouldn't be any different.

@5...as a matter of fact, Lula was known as the 'Teflon President'. Despite all the corruption he was involved in (and still is) no dirt seems to stick to him...he's the only ex-president who refuses to retire gracefully, and besides Dilma being his sock puppet, he has to stay active behind the scenes as it's the only way he can prevent the investigation of his ill-gained fortune (US$ 2 billion over 2 mandates).
