    Talk talk and more talk.

I think talking about this issue is a good idea.

But eventually Argentina will pay when all the talking has finished.

    Argentina squealing.

Anything that the OSA have to say on this is null and void.

The only action is before Judge Griesa and to his satisfaction and his alone. Argentina know this, we know this, the OSA know this.

    Pay your debts squealers.

I think they're scared to talk with nml. Politically it would be a major defeat if they can't come back with a win.

The rgs are acting like whiny teenagers who don't want to do their chores and for gosh sakes they have to stop talking about the few things theyve done recently like the last decade of being a deadbeat scofflaw didn't exist.
    They're not a smart people.

These folks are a bunch of devious deadbeats in overdrive.

They want to make it look like they are being crushed by the evil U.S.

Just like it was the terrible IMF that drove them under the last time.

They are going to default and they want the U. S. to be blamed for it.

NML would be doing the world a big favor if they beat these kleptomaniacs down.

They go to the U.S. to borrow money, 'cause no one trusts them, and then they try and make it look like they are the ones to be trusted and the U.S. is bad.

I can help cut this Meeting of Consultation quite short.

    New rules for bond issuers.
    1. Do not attempt to set up devious scams.
    2. When the default takes place and the bond-issuer cannot pay, deal honestly with bondholders.
    3. Tell the truth.
    4. Do not waste time with legal wrangles. The legal bills, even on retainer, will be horrendous and will cost more in the long run.
    5. Remember that every day means more interest to be paid.
    6. Remember that the people of the world are now alert. Scammers get no sympathy. Scammers' countries get no sympathy. Note the case of argieland. As the matter came toward a close, certain argies tried to appeal that “ordinary” people would suffer through the lack of such items as heating oil. The general world reaction was “Tough”. Seems that the world thought that you reap what you sow.

    Ilsen.

Compared to the problems you and yours are undergoing at the moment, I can not help but totally agree with you.

The OAS, UNSAR, MERCOSUR,UN, and the rest of them should not be wasting their time on the self inflicted debt problems of Argentina.

They should be concerning themselves with situations like you and the rest of the Venezualans are enduring.

They may not be able do much about the Syria or Iraq situations, not without resorting to the use of force.

But they sure as hell could do something about your situation, if the bastards only had some backbone and the will to do something!

Some one needs to remind them that, that is why they exist!

    Hang in their mate!

...and of course not a word about how Argentina waived off sovereign immunity and all kinds of promises in the first place just to get the money....

But I like how he inadvertently points out: ”... it is important to make a statement on it soon.”
Precisely just that - a statement.
With no force of law - A. K. A. hot air...

It will be a sad day, a very sad day, when politicians think that policy takes precedence of the rule of law.

The ironic thing is, that these are the very same people who make the laws, both nationally and internationally and are now speaking out against them, when they are implemented.

It's no good complaining retrospectively, if they are worried about future events, then surely the answer is to legislate!

Seems like NML 's 1.5 bn, although the most immediate - is the least of their problem.

We should run a book on whether Kickitoff goes back to The Dark Country or holes up in the South African Embassy after he has failed. It's SA after all!.

In a couple week this ridiculous circus of uneducated slumdwellers kicking a ball around will be over.
    And then what?
I hope Singer takes the LNG shipments in August.
Maybe that will wake you up from your stupor.

Yankee do you realize how foolish you sound bitching like an RG about vulture investors about soccer because your enemy....south americans love it? It is quite obvious you were never athletically competitive.....golf doesn't count as an athlete.
Stick to your original posts...you do not sound like a fool. In fact you almost pass as an American.

I think for Argentina this is like the moment the lights come on and the cleaners arrive at 4 am in a nightclub. Oh oh, reality. They are simply doing what all addicts do when the means by which they pursue their addiction are removed, one by one. Sad and funny.

If CFK had a detectable sense of humour she might be amused that her nadir comes at the hands of someone as venal as her.

Everything seems to be boiling to a head for the kirchnerite's.

    Econmic recession
    inflation (stagflation)
    deficits
    Boudou indictment
    Campognoli trial falling apart
    Litigation awarded against her

They brag about paying Repsol and paying the Paris Club. Everyone knows they had no intention originally of paying either if the could drill the shale themselves or did not run out of money. Yankee said perfectly when, they are shortsighted and corrupt politicians and the Pied Piper is piping and it is time for them to follow the music. Let's hope the other side of the Argentine people pushes the over the edge.
