Does anyone think Rajoy will review the 'success' that his beligerant stance to the Gibraltarians has been, NOT?

Not a chance! Stupid is as stupid does.

It seems that Spain expected Gibraltar to behave the same as any lazy Spanish province to their provocations. I have been so impressed with the way that Gibraltar organise themselves and fight back, they are truly British.

but what the fuck has gibraltar to offer?
    nothing.
it is just a tax haven, a money laundry, a smugglers paradise and a gambling casino.

the word “production” is out of their vocabulary.

it is the epitome of the english colony, with the difference that it is inhabited by macacos and ruled by a pig.

    stinky place for sure.

Good effort from Gibraltar. Spain needs to worry about the Chavez inspired PODEMOS now. ..
Between a Rock and a hard (left) place, one might say.....

Gibraltar can do whatever it wants as it is not part of Spain.

What are you gunna do about it Paul?

    Nothing. Just like the Falklands.

    @4
“but what the fuck has gibraltar to offer?”

A football team that had a better result against Germany than Brazil did in the World Cup?

@4 A excellent port in a very strategic location that the US has access to 24/7?

'production' what? like car mfg? Bwahaha! How is that working out for you?

Small locations do have to be a bit more creative and use their financial and intellectual powers. Then they can just buy all they need from 'producer' countries, from who-ever can offer the best price. Meanwhile they can speculate on future soy prices in comfort...
Did you even know that you can buy and sell soy whilst it is transit across the Atlantic? You don't need to have ever seen it, never need to touch it. Leave that to you guys.

So much to learn about the world paulie, so much to learn....

    Pablo CabanaBoy

has no idea about the value of Gibraltar.

Yes, the location has been historically strategic, regulating passage in and out of the Med.
However, today, the added value as an airbase and a 'friendly' fuel stop for military aircraft, and electronic listening centre, is only because it IS British.
If it were Spanish, the U.S. and its allies, and British Commonwealth countries would not be using it. They might as well fly into any other part of Spain, or locate offshore, someplace else.
Simply put, it's value is that it is a SECURE FRIENDLY location with trusted partners.

    Ha ha, Pablo Nabo

    @10 Troy
Gibraltar has been a vital location for centuries, that is in no doubt.

However, I think the term 'trusted partners' is going to be another new concept for puerile-cedron to grasp. I don't think Argentina has any in Lat Am, or the rest of the world, come to think of it.
In fact your whole post might be far too complex for him to comprehend.

I think we may have to slow down on the fast-track education, I fear overload.
    His brain might explode.
    urghh!

His Mommy will be cross with us, more of his mess to clean.

funny to listen a bunch of isleters, who have never left porco stanley in their lives , talking about gibraltar.

have you nabos ever been there?
    no, you haven't.

its importance from a strategic point of view is totally passé.
it is from the time of the english pirates.

now all you have there are: monkeys, llanitos, monkey's droppings and llanito' s droppings.

now the funniest thing is that they want to promote that stinky rock as a tourist destination.

i still remember when i left the wonderful sotogrande to spend a pair of hours in the stinky rock.
    worst decision ever.
from the great santa maría polo club to the cathedral square...yuck.

that´s why those long queues in the frontier are good to dissuade the honest tourist to go to llanitoland.

    heheehee!
    So predictable.
    1) accuse any English speaker of never having left the Falklands
    2) say 'you have never been there' (where-ever)
    3) make speculative assumptions
    4) insult the poster
    5) say their opinion is irrelevant,
    6) insult the location
    7) make up some stuff
    8) lie (based on a very quick google search)
    9) lie some more whilst totally failing to understand the situation
    10) look like a knobhead dunce

So there you have it, the puerile-cedron manual for everytime he is angry/completely wrong/has no argument

“its importance from a strategic point of view is totally passé.
it is from the time of the english pirates.”

Honestly. Is there ONE other poster here that agrees with him?
    Somebody? Anybody? Please?

    back on topic:
Gibraltar's naval docks are an important base for NATO. British and US nuclear submarines frequently visit the Z berths at Gibraltar. (A Z berth provides the facility for nuclear submarines to visit for operational or recreational purposes, and for non-nuclear repairs.)

That is what it has to offer, amongst many, many other aspects.

    Actually I've been there.

Stinking hot. And seemed more British than Britain.

Paul, admit it, you've never left Argentina. No shame in that. Just don't expect others to be so limited in life experience.

taking in account that you lie big time, (don´t you, you aussie guy? LOL), it is more than clear that you have never been to gibraltar (yuck), Spain, Argentina, not even to little england.

your world starts and finishes in porto stanley.
living in that isolated islet distorts your vision of the world.

Just google it, as you keep telling other people too.
I really have no time for you anymore. Stop acting like such an idiot. If you don't want to debate, but just insult, you can just Sod Off.

Why is Gibraltar important to UK friends and Allies?
Well dearie, so we can support them. I always find it nice to have friends and Allies, I invite them over for Tea and Cupcakes. If this is not sufficient then I just call an old friend in the RAF.
