    Brazil has been a massive disappointment. Hopefully things will change and the difficult decisions will be made allowing all Brazilians to prosper. If Argentina is part of the problem then that should be reasonably easy to address and put right.

    Correct.

    That will be the “ Without Argentina” option.

    Chances of more competitiveness in world markets will only come AFTER protecting Brasilian or “ local ” industry first. That is the way it has always been to protect jobs here, and that will not change.

    Argentina needs nothing from the EU, so why sign a deal of any kind?

    @3 Argentina needs nothing from the EU.

    The article implies that Brazil “does” want something from the EU.

    Your statement implies that you think only your country's needs matter. “All other Mercosur countries are of course, without even needing to mention it, subservient to Argentina. Of course.”

    Your attitude shows that your country is the Yanqui imperialist of South America. You just assume dominion over all your neighbors.

    Brazil will be far more expensive to trade with than most other nations: corruption by the PT is paid for by the citizens, even though Brasso cannot understand why.

    TDC is on an ever downward spiral and is by far the biggest threat to itself. What a joke of a country.

    15 years and still no treaty! Dear me.

    You may not have known the government of Fernando Henrique. That yes, it was corruption. What PSDB trying to do now is to weaken Petrobras to be able to sell it at a bargain price. And deliver 40 trillion dollars of pre-salt to the United States.
    They were made so well with Vale. In return they get cuddles from the United States, some green cards and pats on the back.

    It is the famous complex mutt of our Brazilian elite.

    @3 Troll, literally in the Dark
    Your “Argentina needs nothing from the EU, so why sign a deal of any kind?”....sounds good to me....one more - good - reason to kick Argentina out of the Mercosul, or, to go ahead without them

    @6 BrazzoBosta...I expected you to agree with the Troll. Stupid minds think alike.
    @8 BrazzoBosta
    Gotta keep it short...more than 10 lines are too much for your 'brown' matter to absorb. Your post is just one big lie...No one is trying to sell Petrobrás ....just trying to clean out the corruption installed in it since 2007 ; Even you, you moron, know that Petrobrás was in good shape until your hero Lula, nationalized it in 2007, so that he could plunder it with impunity. Seems the shit has caught up with him.
    The only thing you got right, is the 'mutt' complex (not complex mutt !) of the “petistas”....that's why they hate what you like to call the 'elite'......

    HTF do those two trolls get so stupid? Just when one thinks the limits of stupidity have been reached, they type once again to prove their stupidity is limitless.
    Brassie at times can barely type English and at times he is flawless. One wonders how many command the puppet?
    Brassie....are you smarter or stupider than your government leaders? They seem to do the opposite of what you type so please tell us the answer.

    I have no problem with anyone else in Latin America signing free trade with the EU or anyone. Just keep Argentina out and RESPECT our decisions to be free from your bondage.

    Seeing that you have the ear of your government.....will you be telling them to get out of the USA and stop courting our oil companies and stop exports out of South america? When that happens....we might believe you are serious in your isolationist concepts.

    What Indian are you anyway? Are you a full breed? I doubt it.....you have too much anger and complexes.

    @11 Troll in the dark,
    Thanks for your permission....Don't know what we'd do if you hadn't given it.
    As to excluding Argentina - for as long as CFK and her pals are in power - is an excellent idea.

    Anybody in Europe need anything from mercosur? Thought not. So CUT it off. Wherever you are in Europe, tell your respresentative that no-one needs anything from mercosur. Under no circumstances should Europe buy anything from south of Texas. Unless they have a special dispensation. Therefore nothing from VABUP.
