Any attendees from the C24 to see how things are done (as opposed to how some would have them believe how things are done) ?

A nice change from the pre-1982 stance of these territories are an inconvenience, lets get rid.

Looks like the UK at last looks after its responsibilities-hence the fact that economically, they will all progress.

Let's see the UK give a grant to help the Falklands build a permanent deep water port, rather than give aid money to governments that put it into Swiss bank accounts.

Can the runway at St Helena be extended?

it is just a meeting of money laundering centres.
terrorism financing centres, to be more specific.
and of course, the money laundering capital is...london.
    not a surprise, eh?

all of those twats should be in jail.

Britain's overseas territories open to fraud and money laundering

    @4 Paul

“all of those twats should be in jail”

Timerman could always issue arrest warrants for them, like he has for all oil workers in the Falklands.

Please remind me again, how many oil workers in the Falklands have actually been arrested and jailed by Argentina, since 2010?

perhaps number 4 is hurt by the low standards of his own government,

compared to the high standards of the British,

and attacking us, is his only way of letting of steam..lol

no boludo 9, i recognize the low standards of “my own” government, of “my” politicians and all you want.
you are the ones who completely lack of self-criticism.
not a surprise since you have to have a high iq to be self-critical.

If you open any newspaper in the Uk or watch any TV news programme you will see critical analysis of the government of the days actions. Some of it is high quality critique, others less so.

In Argentina if the Government had the same scrutiny, if the press had the same level of critical analysis...I wonder the result.

Probably nothing, as you say, one needs a high IQ to be self-critical...I actually think most Argentines love this corrupt bunch of thieves.

    monkeybrain
the most popular newspapers, tv programs, radio programs, etc are those who oppose to the government.

no wonder you have never read clarín, la nación, etc., cause you're a monoglot .

but it seems you have never read english papers like the telegraph, and the most popular: the mirror, the sun, daily mail, etc, etc, either.

probably you think that that shite represents critical analysis.

If you don't speak Spanish you are a monoglot ? So French, German or Greek don't count as languages ?
If you live in Europe then Spanish MAY be useful for holidays but not much else.

It would seem that Prawn-septic @4 just googles his prejudices and then selects an article to fit them. Even if it an article from six years ago anf then prevents it as 'evidence'
He has form for this, and a little collection of them. The same links he uses everytime.......
He is just so jealous. He would love an invite to London.

Who cares if they are money laundering. They're stil British.

    Not Spanish.
    Not Argentinean.

They don't need to speak any languages other than English.

English is the Lingua Franca of the world. It is the world's first global language.

English is the future language that EVERYONE will need to know to survive in the global economy. Speaking another language will a hobby for native English speakers. Unneeded but will make travelling more fun.
