The sanctions are mainly aimed at stopping Maduro and Chavez allies from heading to the USA to invest their proceeds of crime.

No doubt the Venezuelan government will use it as an excuse for rampant inflation, shortages of toilet paper, poor weather and losing football matches.

to invest their proceeds of crime,

they could invest their billions in Argentina,

after all, that's what friends are for, and im sure CFK would be very happy, for an early XMAS Present

    just a Christmassy thought.

I'm now up travelling in California, USA.

Nice KE flight up from SAMPA, with no hysterics over bagged nuts. Good flight as a matter of fact. Dry in Southern California, but somewhat cold

News here is that the actor and newlywed George Clooney suggested to avoid security problems with the theatres, the Sony film in question be downloaded online.

I looked at the trailer online here ( WIFI is better here ) and frankly I'm not impressed with what I saw. But I understand his point.

The trouble is, Clooney wants the Studio Heads to have the courage of other people's convictions - not gonna happen, ever.

Watching the Stingray Christmas episode right now, “A Christmas to Remember”

Think Turnip would like it - Troy Tempest ( the 'real' Troy Tempest) is caught in a lie!

Next up, Thinderbirds, “Give or Take a Million” - the rocket carrying toys to the Coralville Children's Hospital, has criminal stowaways...

    exciting stuff !!

    More believable than Think-Turnip's stories.

    :-D

    BTW, don't forget, UFO !!
