We need to start selling off the USA strategic oil stockpiles. That will slump oil for a long time and frankly we don't need it any longer.

Prices will always rise again eventually. And when they do, all the shake and fracking will start all over again. Saudi Arabia doesn't have a monopoly unless it is willing to live with low prices and reduced income permanently.

Indeed Saudis Arabia is doing the US a favour. Because this will lead to rationalisation in the fracking and shale industry and also prompt increased efficiencies. There's nothing like a good recession to reform and come back stronger.

Would this not be a good time to buy the oil,
save it in storage [if this is poss]
and when the oil goes up again, [ it surely will ]
then it can be re-sold at a higher price.
    just a thought.

Typical investor of the failed “oil province”

“Sold all my RKH for AFR”

Bailed out of RKH at huge loss and jumped into safer lifeboat in Afren a few weeks ago. Sorry chaps. PMO pi@@ED me off.

    FIG take note.

Well very positive for Chile as we import about 89% of our hydrocarbons, but we need to insist that world copper prices are way too low. Yes, I wish you all a very Happy and Joyful Christmas!

&. I don't know why Chile doesn't take Cochabamba for the nat gas. Bolivia is mismanaging it and I am sure the Bolivians would love to be part of Chile.
