    Spokesmen for Argentina claim that 'the entire world' supports its colonial ambitions in the Falklands and yet the European Commision is prepared to give European Overseas Countries and Territories (which includes the Falklands) funding for environmental projects.

    It looks as if Argentina has got it wrong, again!

    The monies being distributed are for the Overseas Countries and Territories of the Member States (OCT's). The EU recognises that the Falkland Islands are an OT of a Member State...it says so in the Treaties of Maastericht and Lisbon.

    So there are 27 countries that do not support the Argentine claim to the Falkland Islands.

    ho well, that will definatly piss CFK and her cohorts off,
    well Europe you was warned not to interfere, now your for it,

    Today a letter has gone of,
    CFK now claims Guyana [ French ] Gibraltar [brit]
    Malta [ self]
    and Cyprus,
    and that's just for starters,

    She will claim the whole of Europe through a line and inheritor of Spain.
    ya gotta laugh.

    @6....don't forget these...

    At the 60th annual meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) conference in Yaounde, Cameroon. CPA is made up of Parliamentarians from 53 democratic countries
    At the annual conference of the whole CPA in South Africa in September 2013, MLA Elsby tabled a motion seeking support and recognition of the results of the referendum, in which 92% of the electorate voted and of those 99.8% voted to remain as a British Overseas Territory.
    There was unanimous support from all countries of the CPA, recognising the referendum as free and fair and being a true reflection of the wishes of the Falkland Islanders.

    Thats another 53.....plus your 27...makes ...using INDEC formulae.....
    ...0, nil, zilch....OK I see how it works in Argentina.

    Now now boys it is so unfair on the Trolls quoting real numbers.

    53 + 27 = 80 countries who recognize the Falkland Islands.

    Not only recognition but further supporting the rights of the people of the Falkland islands.

    For some strange reason a while back the Trolls would bang on about nails in coffins.

    I think this is the coffin of Argentina having any say over the future of the Falkland Islands & Islanders, being lowered 6 feet underground.

    Anyone else want to start piling on the dirt.

    @11 Mark

    Ahh, so if no one (at all) according to Argentina, supports the Falkland Islanders,and the EU in showing that lack of support, grant the Falkland Islands 5.9 million euros, then LATAM should show their lack of support in a similar way by bunging a few £million (or even Euros) FIG's way.

    No peso toy money please or your preferred currency of agricultural products.

    What do you reckon Marcos/Paulcedron?

    Sounds fair to me.

    @9 Zathras

    Don't forget to take two off (Malta and Cyprus are both members of the Commonwealth and the EU), but even 78 takes an INDEC level of maths to be equal to zero.

    Thank you I had suspected that there may be some overlap.

    So a mere 78 countries Trolls !

    Whenever an Argentinian states EVERYONE supports them over the Falklands we can sing: “Liar, Liar Pants on Fire”.

    78 Stable democracies do NOT support Argentina's position.
    Would be interesting to compare that to the counties that support Argentina.
    I'm guessing China and Russia, we all know how undemocratic and evil those countries are.

    Well, obviously the whole of the EU recognises the F.I.
    One does fund projects in 'unrecognisable' countries...

    bang goes pretty much all of Kristina's game-plan. No wonder Filmus has to scrabble about in third-world Central American banana republics pratically begging for support.

    Population of the EU approx 500 million.
    Population of Honduras? I can't even be bothered to google it... There are probably more Latino waiters/cleaners in London...
