The 2017 date means that the referendum won't be a referendum, because as things stand at the moment the rules of the EU are to change before 2017 to make it illegal to leave the EU!

It will be just like the Eagles song “Hotel California”; you “can check in but you can never leave”.

@1. Have you missed a point in international law? I'm surprised. Argieland does it regularly. What you do is to repudiate the treaty that creates the rules. Do you get this concept of 'sovereignty'? Being 'sovereign' means that you get to do what you want. Let's take a frinstance. The UK decides to leave the EU. It repeals the European Communities Act. Labour, LibDem, SNP MPs get their faces smashed against convenient walls until they vote 'correctly'. Repeal of the ECA means that no EU treaty, directive, order, rule has any effect in the UK. This isn't latam where some silly, subservient organisation gets to tell a sovereign country what to do. I wonder if the UK might go so far as to suggest that it might bomb Brussels? What was Paraguay's economic situation in 2012? Could it have told mercosur to get knotted and set up trade links with France, Germany, UK and USA?
You do understand that the FINAL SOLUTION is to say NO, don't you? I'd like to see the namb-pamby 27 members of the EU trying to stop the UK doing what it intends to do. Here's a plan. EU officials expelled. UK ends diplomatic relations with 27 members and allows 7 days for 'diplomats' to leave. Nationals of 27 member states no longer able to enter the UK. Exports to 27 member states cease. Imports from 27 member states taken but not paid for unless member state accepts UK secession. EU contributions cease. Foreign fishing vessels in UK-designated waters are fired on until they leave. Just a few starting ideas.

    britain's economic recovery??

so for these twats, having the biggest public debt on earth, 13 million people living under the poverty line, 3 million people who starve to death, the worst healthcare and the worst child mortality rate in europe is an economic recovery?

and they reappointed the same twat as finance minister?

the twat should be sent to prison for life.

Here's another plan for you. ENGLISH boats fire on unarmed EU fishing boats...Scotland won't. You have just about started the 3d war in Europe. Against you will be France, Germany, Spain ,Denmark , Netherlands.
England is not strong enough to take on the combined forces of these nations.
Remember, you have no maritime patrol aircraft and have to ask the French, Dutch,German and Norwegians for help.
You don't really understand much about the UK's - sorry England's- military capabilities do you !

@11. The phrase was 'Foreign fishing vessels in UK-designated waters are fired on until they leave.' You see the UK has warships. The scotch will be classed as 'foreign'. Would you like to track back to 1939? And then consider the combined forces of whom? Germany won't fight outside Germany. France and Italy can't fight anyway. Would you like to research the German allies from 1939?
I understand far more about UK military capabilities than you do. How many warships do you scotch twats have? What a fun idea to have British fleet submarines off the east, west and north coasts of scotland. You know, the ones with all the land attack cruise missiles. Combat aircraft? Tankers? Tanks? The answer is ZERO. When you have something beyond a big mouth, let us know. Typical scot. All mouth and no trousers.

You understand F.all about British military capabilities as can be seen by your ridiculous jingoistic posts. How many warships do you English twats have ?
By the way, if Scotland leave then the bulk of the fishing waters will be Scottish territorial waters.
It may have escaped your notice that the UK has an over-represented number of Scottish personnel in it's ranks. Do you honestly think that they are going to acquiesce to their homeland being “nuked”. Do you know which nationality Officers on board these subs. are ? Who controls the firing keys and codes ?

You really are a 100% nut case completely living in a make-believe world.

“”“”“”“so for these twats, having the biggest public debt on earth,”“”“”“””

a quick check reveals that the biggest public debt on earth is japan.... the Uk comes between 15th and 20th on the whole.

(usual Pualie fcuk up really - makes claims he cant even bother to check on google)

    ---

having recently found myself and my family classed as being “below the poverty line” I can relate well top his note about suffering in the Uk though.

We own our house, have two cars, two kids a dog, no debt (yup, ZERO debt) own& run our own company, employee others and yet, somehow, we are “below the poverty line” according to some lefty- Gruniad definitions... probably because we only pay ourselves the minimum wage (which is WAY below that given in that useless link of yours)

So, Paulie, bring on those useful links... 'coz from first hand knowledge, being classed as “beneath the poverty line” I can tell you: life's a beach in the UK.

    lets see...
so you are classed as being below the poverty line.
and yet YOU say that you have 1 house, 2 cars, your own company, employees, etc, etc, etc.

now, in 2010, being under the poverty line meant that you earned 13.000 pounds per year.
add the inflation rate, and that amount is +/- 14.000 pound per year.
    14.000 pounds = 20.000 dollars

and you say that with 20.000 dollars per year you can have all that.
    the questions then are:
is that a house or a shack?
those cars are 20, 30 years old?
what kind of company do you have? a kiosko?
    those employees are slave workers?
or are you, like the rest of the bennys, a big, big, huge liar?

@13. I see that your vastly intelligent comments take one tack when talking about latam and the complete opposite when it comes to Britain. You seem to exist on the basis of who you can hate.
@14. Sorry? Are you referring to silly little video games BOUGHT by the inadequate. You seem to know about them. I don't have any.
@18. NOBODY insults argies. We just tell you the truth. Can't cope? Piss off.
@19. Let's see whether I can explain something to a jingoistic and stupid fart. It doesn't matter how many warships we English have. The number is the difference between what we have and what you scotch jerkers have.
At the bottom line, territorial waters are defined by what a nation can control. Think that through.
Scotch personnel in the ranks of the UK armed forces? The relevant penalty is death. Doesn't matter which way you look at it. In time of war, treachery, disobedience get you shot. It's usually immediate. No fancy trials, lawyers, judges. Just a bullet or two.
Actually, I live in a world where I have to recognise scotch lies, treachery and theft.
Off you go to find about the loan. The amount is £398,085 10s sterling. The same time the scotch pound was valued at ONE English shilling.
Why do you make up so many stories? Is it that you don't have any valid opinions or facts? Here's another FACT. I live in a place generally referred to as the 'Home of the British Army'. Every day, fixed and rotary wing aircraft of the RAF and AAC pass overhead. Within a couple of hours travel is a fair part of the Royal Navy.
I have a great deal of respect for, and pride in, SERVING members of the British armed forces. And, therefore, their capabilities are a primary concern. I KNOW what they can do. I'm immensely glad that I'm on the same side. YOU want to think about how many times foreigners have underestimated them. That includes scotch foreigners. Remember the Battle of Culloden? That was AFTER you'd taken English financial assistance.

“ Let's see whether I can explain something to a jingoistic and stupid fart”.
    Well you could try.
Stand in front of a mirror and repeat your mantra over and over but it would need a brain to absorb it....a fail on this matter.

You live near Aldershot....good for you so that gives you a special insight to military affairs. I live near the sub. bases at Faslane AND the nuclear arsenal at Coulport.....does that give me any great insight into the capabilities of our “nuclear detterent”...in a word NO.

Remember the Battle of Culloden ? Not really as I was not born then but you obviously know little about it.

The British Government (Hanoverian loyalist) forces were mostly English, along with a significant number of Scottish Lowlanders and Highlanders, a battalion of Ulstermen and some Hessians from Germany and Austrians.
    Jacobite Army.
This consisted largely of Scottish Highlanders, as well as a number of Lowland Scots and a small detachment of Englishmen from the Manchester Regiment.
Hardly England verses Scotland as you infer.

Off you go to find about the loan. The amount is £398,085 10s sterling
I have tried to find out about your mythical loan by going to the actual documents and have failed to find the word loan mentioned.
So, all knowing person, show me where it says that it is a loan and I will apologise for my mistake. So, it's up to you to supply the proof.

I can hardly believe my eyes when you call me jingoistic. Every one of your posts is pure ENGLISH jingoism. You are joking when you mention the UK. or Britain. You mean England and only England. You seem to have a hatred for every other country on earth. I notice that Australia is now on your hate list
What a sad individual you are. Have you never thought that if you express a hatred for other nations, they might reciprocate the feeling. This would not be to your advantage.

Argentina must be pleased that Scotland has now pushed them into second place on your hate list...well done !

Everyone makes the mistake of thinking ALL of Scotland want an independent country. The voting figures belie this.
Since Thatcher's time in office, very few Scots would vote Conservative as we were used as the laboratory for her experiments in political dogma. We dare not try it in England, as if it failed, we would be in serious trouble. There are no votes in Scotland so it doesn't matter there.
New Labour turned out to be the same as the Conservatives so it was Tweedledum or Tweedledee. The Liberals sold their principles for a seat in government, so who could vote for them.. UKIP? The rebranded Nazi party.
So, who was left ? Monster raving loonies or the very nice Greens.
If you exclude the nationalistic theme in their politics, the SNP have done some good things in Scotland which also seem to be getting picked up South of the border.
Nicola Sturgeon has said that a referendum is not on the agenda for at least the lifetime of this Parliament and I have no reason to doubt her word.

As an aside, I was watching a post election discussion on BBC this morning and there was a general consensus that Ms Sturgeon came out the best of all the political speakers and many who supported other parties said they wished they had someone like that representing them.
A SNP supporter made a telling point about the amount invested in the S.E to the detriment of the N.E.. The estimated cost of the HST link from London to Birmingham is £30 Billion.
Why not start it at Newcastle ?

Speaking of IGNORANCE: Our assistant trainee bed pan cleaner Paulcedron continues to spew out basically the same stuff he's a specialist in professionally removing.

The UK remains the desired EU nation for emigrating to due to the wonderful opportunities there. UNESCO statistics show that poverty, infant mortality, healthcare, etc... are world standards for excellence.
As I've said several times, the Argentines I personally know are wonderful people, but there's a mental illness that's prevalent in a large segment of their populace that is classified as Peronism...

well, criteria and this chilote are incompatible terms, so not a surprise.

Our bed pan cleaner posts what he regularly removes...
...if you read the links you realize that the UK has a far better record than the United States and that due to pregnant immigrants seeking to have their children to be born in the UK, they Skye the statistics. Yes, the Nordic nations really pamper their mothers to be with the best of care.

Why is Argentina so low on the UNESCO statistics for child care and that the child mortality rate is far higher than Chile, Uruguay, Colombia, Panama and Costa Rica? Why are their documented cases of child STARVATION occurring in northern Argentina. Why is it that only Argentina, Surinam and Guatemala have reported a decrease in literacy rates?

Personally, I prefer a progressive nation that takes care of their people by improving their health care, strengthing their pension systems, improves their health care, education, employment opportunities, etc...

NOT swindling them of their savings, looting their national patrimony, destroying their health and educational systems and making their nation an international pariah enslaved to China and Russia.

Exactly! The bed pan cleaner is throwing his shite pathetically trying to defame the UK.

I doubt the arse cleaning specialist has ever travelled to Europe, much less realize that Great Britain is one of the best places to live in, and certainly one of the most civilized. Western Europe, especially the Scandinavians provide the best social care in the world. Argentina's current ranking in UNESCO places the nation somewhere between Serbia and Bulgaria. Chile is somewhere between Portugal and Greece.

So according to some , everyone hates the English,
stoking the fames of hatred them,

you will find some people don't like others for many hundreds of different reasons,

but blaming the English/scots/irish/welsh for everything is like burning the toast, and blaming the grill.

we will always be united, until the day comes that we are not, and some who stoke the flames of nationalism must take some of the blame , morally or otherwise.

for this violent world will be a more violent and sad place to live,, after we have been destroyed by some to serve ones own ambitions.

In another UN report, there is an alarming decline shown over the past decade in health care delivery in Argentina. Hospitals dispensing expired medicine. Anti-viral drugs being kept with out refrigeration due to lab refrigerators non-functioning. Non-working CT scanners due to a lack of matainance, health care professionals going on strike on working shifts. Increased infant mortality, increased post operative infections... ...only Venezuela has a worse record...

    Change of subject

Do you want to be entertained? Ask an Argentine why they think their country is far superior to the United Kingdom. They'll talk for hours... AND will believe all shite they spout. IF they mention that the English pirates have something better, it's ONLY because the Argentines were swindled by the IMF or some Vulture hedge fund has paid off some judge. It's always the fault of someone else.

Bonus points: ask an Argentine if in their opinion Baroness Thatcher was the greatest woman leader of 20th Century... Once they calm down after an hour or so, then ask why the Bife de Lomo in Montevedo tastes far better than the ones served in Puerto Madero... Should be entertaining...

The events you bring to our attention are rare and are not nationwide.

I assume you are aware that Islamic “jihadistas” in the Muslim community in the UK have committed dreadful atrocities, such as the murder of Lee Rigby, which are barbarous and inhuman and they commit these offences in the name of Allah and Mohammed. Furthermore, out of fear, the majority of innocent Muslims are reluctant to condemn their coreligionists and this provokes reactions, naturally. amongst other members of our society. Also, you will be aware that the barbarous USIS killer of innocent western victims in Syria has been identified as a British Muslim.

I am not offering excuses for the reactions of people in our society against the British Muslims but a small section of UK citizens have unfortunately reacted accordingly - “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” . Their reactions are wrong but understandable.

    Isolde.... How about plain dumb?
I'm not saying it to offend, merely to point out how your posts appear in the eyes of the beholder. Your main points are foul language...

I might regret this input, as someone someday pointed out, the risk you will beat my arguments, by experience, is overwhealming...

And once again they come, they interfere, they intimidate, and we do nothing

Britain ‘must defend Gib waters’ – Opposition

This is a matter for the Royal Navy and the United Kingdom Government
The GSD said that if the UK persists in simply dealing with matter by way of diplomatic protests, these incidents will continue and they will one day lead to a serious injury or worse

The United Kingdom must be more assertive..

    The British government appeasement project,
May give Spain an extra hard slap on the bum,
    So they say….

Speaking of bums, if GB leaves the EU Scotland will call another indy referendum and Gib will find its pants pulled down by Spain, as its shuffled towards the barrel.

    @98 Breakdowns R Us
“I'm not saying it to offend, merely to point out how your posts appear in the eyes of the beholder. Your main points are foul language...”

That is so amusing as well as VERY offensive which was your goal anyway because you are simply incapable of an intelligent reply yourself.

IF Isolde has used foul language, and I cannot remember when she has, I am sure it was because idiots like you and POLLY are enough to try the patience of an angel.

We will all put it down to your imminent breakdown and constant inability to grasp simple physics and logic problems.

Now run along and book your room in the asylum, wherever you live, but we know it's NOT Uruguay, don't we?
