”...agreement to submit Guatemala's Territorial, Insular, and Maritime Claim to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for a final decision”

Notice that Belize didn't have to submit its claim to its territory. Just the country making the ACTUAL claim.

See, the UK doesn't need to submit any claim because it already possess the Falkland Islands. All Argentina has to do is submit its claim.

    That's all.

Got to be worth a try.

However, will Guatemala accept the verdict???

Has Colombia accepted the judgment in the Islands/EEZ case with Nicaragua?

Or Chile in the maritime border case with Peru?

These cases go to the Court, however the losers never accept the verdict and so the disputes may go quiet for a time, but they always seem to return.

Bolivia Vs Chile, sea access – pending.

Venezuela vs Guyana, land grab – pending being pending.

Well the end of sensible governance of the OAS has just passed.

Gollums Rent Boy, Luis Almagro from Uruguay (former foreign minister), has taken over.

Jolly dee! We got rid of this arsehole onto the OAS!

I don't know what Dovena, the argie 'ambassador' to Uruguay will do know that the Rent Boy has moved to Washington, the two were inseparable during the annual argie bollocks about Uruguay and “their support for our claim to the 'Malvinas' ” held of course in PdelE.

“However, will Guatemala accept the verdict???”

We'll have to wait and see

“Has Colombia accepted the judgment in the Islands/EEZ case with Nicaragua?”

I think it's yes over the Islands, but no over the EEZ.

Or Chile in the maritime border case with Peru?

    Yes.
