WTF is wrong with the South American people to allow their leaders to do this and to continue on this path? They are nothing more than a civilian counterpart of the past military junta's. I hope they, the people understand that no one in the free world will come to their aid they they, the frog in boiling water wakes up and suddenly realize that they are the meal and are being cooked. It will be too late.

South America will be the new eastern Europe of the past and the ending will be the same.

BTW..........Hey Assange....still happy with your choices?

Another ALBA country instigating Human Rights abuse.
But, hey that's ok, because they are socialists, so they are doing it for the people, not to the people, right?

    (grrr....)

Though is is not a problem of ours, I whole heartily agree that this maniac dictator needs to be red dotted.

How poor does one's nation need be to allow a man like this into power? AL:l these countries with names like Burma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Nigeria, Botswana and lets not forget East Bumfucked....all seem to think they are doing great things for the people.

Assange won't squeal about anything because Ecuador isn't part of the west.

Just like you won't hear him expose anything about Russia or China.

    1,180 and counting. That's 1,180 laughs I've had.

    #9 South American Democracy:

Legislative and/or executive elections created after the electorate is provided an ample sum of handouts, gifts and/or food. Once in the seat or office of power, the real transition begins. A slow yet consistent repeal of constitutional acts the would otherwise limit and/or balance the power of the executive branch, thus increasing the executive power. This increased power will ultimately provide the executive to remove individual rights and liberties, i.e. freedom of speech, freedom of the press et al. until a new government is created: THE DICTOCRAT, the elected dictator!!

    SOUTH AMERICAN DEMOCRACY!!
