The Treasury of the Government of the Falkland Islands has issued (18th September) a new collector coin commemorating the 275th anniversary of the composition of the tune “Rule, Britannia!” The staunchly patriotic British song was set to music by Thomas Arne in 1740, adapted from the poem, “Rule, Britannia,” by James Thomson. Excellent true history of the Falkland Islands and a total rebuff of all the Argie lies.

    Rule Brittania?

I thought the Brittos were past “imperialism and colonialism”, at least that's what the platoon of Brittos here has been telling me for 4 years.

    Don't tell me?

ANGLOS WILL BE ANGLOS? (let's remember what this succinct phrase means:

PECKSNIFFIAN, DOUBLE-FACED, DUPLICITOUS, HYPOCRITICAL, and... just dead wrong usually.)

Aww look at the Argentine trolls getting all upset over a coin!

A coin commissioned, minted and used in a free society. A coin that has more worth than the Argentine peso, and all the trolls can do is gnash their teeth impotently.

It's really amusing to watch them squirm with their own inadequacies.

“And Argentina always always will waive the rules.”

    LOL, brilliant !!

I can imagine thier troops singing that as they retreat from better trained forces, and Kicilarf leading the chorus as tries to wriggle out of financial obligations

Judging by the bilious reactions from the Nationalist Peronists .I think this coin will be a big success. I will definitely be watching out and purchasing one.

@3. Just taking a breather. Plenty of time. Just imagine TWO 70,000 tonne aircraft carriers arriving in the Rio de la Plata and launching wave after wave of Apache attack helicopters. You lie, so obviously we can. We'll call you an “imminent threat” and a “clear and present danger”.
@4. Ever used Google to look at your Belgrano Naval Base. There seems to be a destroyer lying on its side almost completely under water. The waves are on our side! We sank one Belgrano. Shall we do it again?
@5. Stooled on you, didn't we? Would you like us to do it again? We can control the weather. 115 Typhoons arriving over your cesspit!

    Very patient the Argentines?

    They can wait.

Shame I won't be around to see what the 300th anniversary coin looks like.

What beautiful representations of our Queen and our Britannia. Can't wait to order some from my coin dealer in London. Thank you, Falklands, for such a lovely tribute to our classic song which always fills us with pride and joy.
Now leave the Argentines to wail and splutter about their worthless currency which no one in the world wants.
Latest currency, bond and credit ratings from Standard and Poors:
Argentina: SD (Junk, avoid like the plague) United Kingdom: AAA (The highest, most respected rating, get as much as you can)

I see paulcedron(cara de orto podrido), Great_coral_aTrol and Marquitos Alejandrito, our resident juvenile trolls, were quick with their usual inane comments.

It is pleasing to see that a coin can engender such idiocy!

It is wonderful to know that these deranged individuals are choking on a British coin. A British coin! What power we have over these saddos.

what that plastic coin engenders is:
    laughter.
    scorn.
    schadenfreude.
    and a bit of loathing.

    got it now?

This little chap has been away receiving ECT and now they have let him out for a trial period. Welcome back. We love your loathing. It shows we're getting to you, crawling under your skin. Lovely.
We all have to acknowledge that sad boobies like this chappie have only a basic education and are crippled by an extremely childish knowledge of English. Because of their reduced intellect they are incapable of forming human relationships and so seek an outlet for their failures by writing puerile nonsense here. We just need to humour and pity them. Pobrecitos.
They live in a ghastly, failed country and have no means of escaping to a better life in Great Britain like so many thousands of Argentines have done. No wonder they are in such mental torment.

If you were a rational adult then you would just ignore it.
By you and your acolytes comments it just shows that it just makes you bristle with impotent rage. Apart from posting inane comments, there is absolutely nothing you can do vis a vis the Falklands sovereignty.
However it's just your way of venting your feelings of inferiority..we know that.

    Ponder on the following..........

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye.”

Railing about your inadequacies is like a rocking chair, it will give you something to do but it won't get you anywhere.

Our little friend is weak and powerless and simple-minded. Leave him to fester away. The poison is rotting his brain cells, as we can all confirm from his incomprehensible garbage. (We do hope he can find a Spanish translation of that.)

Please don't be too hard on poor little pcIV. He can't spend much time here scrawling his babyish inanities because he keeps getting dragged away for even more potty-training. Remember that the mess of crap he leaves here is simply more of the same he leaves all over his smelly backside.
