China's Xi in UK to promote business and investments, including nuclear plant
China's leader Xi Jinping is expected to put the seal on its contribution to what will be the first United Kingdom nuclear power plant to be built in a generation. The plant could be opened by 2025 at Hinkley Point, in Somerset, with China likely to cover about 30% of the cost. Read full article

I hear ya brit. They are building Boston's new city trains. They are opening a plant in Springfield Mass and hiring like a few hundred Americans who are training in China for a year. That was the one stipulation they had to hire ALL Americans.

We have been around a long time and can look after ourselves, we are the worlds ultimate pragmatists after all.
I personally am far happier dealing with the Chinese than the EU.
I am quite sure that Brussels are watching very carefully and taking note that we are more than capable of trading globally and attracting massive investment without the need to be shackled to the EU.
I am quite proud that the Chinese are very interested in my home city of Manchester and the president was very specific about wanting to come here over and above anywhere else in the UK, presumably because we have the largest Chinese population outside London and they are very welcome here.
