    “A free media plays a vital role in a functioning democracy”...somebody should tell that to several south american countries...like Venezuela, Argentina, Ecuador, and Bolivia....

    As worthwhile a story as this is, i'm not sure what a Westminster ministers views on press freedom has to do with the south atlantic news agency?

    I would be far more interested to read what the goverments of south america have to say on the issue.
