She might well have tried to make a deal with Macri, but with no witnesses or corroboration, he would look like he was possibly lying, to discredit CFK, out of frustration.
Best he stayed quiet until after CFK had relinquished all her control over the government.
Furthermore, he has stated there will be no retribution- for now, anyway.
