Hysterical, Guyana will support the views of the people who put the most zero's on the cheque. As Ian Hanson is the one describing their position, i'm guessing there weren't enough zero's.

”Guyana is a member of Unasur (Union of South American Nations); Caricom (Caribbean Community), Celac (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States and Petrocaribe, among other regional and international organizations..”

Hmmm what Argentina believes to be 'the whole world'. Well it is Argentina's world at least.

And here we have a member of the whole world supporting self determination for the Falkland Islanders. That can't be right can it?

Why are the FIG cosying up to this cretin?

    It makes them look desperate.

First miss-step I have seen, hope it's the last.

    “to facilitate the meeting.”

Did you mean allow or chaperone...?
Support Self-Determination...? I thought it was enshrined in International Law or was it enshrined in the UN Charter...
    Is there a difference...?
Apparently so... or there would be no need to go begging for support....

@1. Evidence? No wonder you said “guessing”.
@3. Not “desperate”. Just proving argie lies.
@4. Where was the begging? Here's an example of “begging”. Having rejected “independence” because “independence” equalled “poverty” without English money, proud scotland DEMANDED that the UK government supported the suddenly renamed UK oil industry. Until the referendum, it was the scottish oil industry. Despite scotland being so wealthy. There isn't a lot of difference between scotland and argieland. But argieland thought it could get scotland onside to hurt England. Did anybody in scotland do any research to find out where the Islanders originated? “About 70 percent are of British descent, primarily as a result of Scottish and Welsh immigration to the islands.”

As Argentina are free to circulate their falsehoods around the world, the Islanders are free to illustrate their rights of self determination to countries that may have been deceived by Argentina.

I can counter your argument by saying that if Argentina's claim is so robust, why aren't they at the ICJ, peddling the Malvinas myth instead of touring the world and wasting their time at the C24?

Perhaps you consider it a success that Argentina has asked/demanded dialogue with the UK and has achieved that since about 1984 ,exactly ZERO times.
