“Unemployment reaches 9% in Sept-Nov” is already an old news - not even a “news” in fact.

The “real” figures are rapidly approaching 20% in an ongoing crisis which was conveniently revealed only AFTER the last election in Brazil!

If , according to the MP headline, the 9% of unemployed represent 9,1 million workers, that means those working, plus those looking for a job, add up to about 100 million. So, if you add to the 9,1 million, the 30 million adults (of working age) who are living off handouts, such as the 'Bolsa Familia', you come to 39 million unemployed.......which represents nearly 20% of the population. PT stats are just bullsh*t.
