It's strange that neither the political parties nor the people have insisted upon plebiscite / referendum / votes to decide who or which party should govern the country as well as the fate of the responsible & the culprits.

That is a massive jump in unemployment.

It is as if the Brazilian government is paralysed and doing nothing at all regarding this recession.

No need for the Brazil Nuts to worry about 9.5% unemployment!

Just wait a couple of years with the PT still 'running' things and it will be 20% or higher: then you can worry.

the figure of 9.6 million unemployed is a farce.....as it doesn't cover the 30 million adults (of working age) sponging off the Bolsa Família, it's just as they say here : “é conversa p´ra boi dormir ”...or, 'just conversation to make the cows doze off'.

“Unemployment in Brazil reaches 9.5%, the highest level since 2012”

Hardly surprising, given the levels of mismanagement of the Economy, and equally the chronic levels of corruption....

    What else should we expect?
    Unrest on the streets?

oops! did I miss the News broadcasts...?
