Presidential candidate of Peruvians for Change, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski (PPK), has a vote intention of 50.1%, while Popular Strength presidential candidate, Keiko Fujimori garnered 49.9% of the votes ahead of the 5 June runoff, according to the latest GFK survey, released this week.

 As to the negative vote, the poll found that 40% would definitely not vote for Keiko Fujimori, while 32% would not support PPK. Of the total 1,554 respondents of this week's GFK poll, blank votes totaled 8.8%.

The majority of undecided vote comes from the interior of Peru, representing 25% of the poll, while in the capital Lima, 15%.

Consistent with other polls, PPK’s support is focused in the central and southern zones of Peru. On the other hand, Keiko Fujimori’s support is primarily in the northern regions. Likewise, 11% said they would vote blank in the second round.

Last week, a CPI survey carried out between April 26 and 27, showed Keiko Fujimori was ahead with 42.3% of vote intention compared to PPK’s 40.1%.

In the first round, Fujimori received 39.85% of votes cast; PPK 20.99% and Veronika Mendoza, 18.80%.

The CPI poll also showed PPK votes are concentrated in Metropolitan Lima, where he obtained 46% and his opponent Keiko, 43.8%. Fujimori's support is from the interior of Peru, with 41.6% of vote intention compared to 36.9% for PPK
