United States presidential candidate Donald Trump reached the number of delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination for president on Thursday, completing an unlikely rise that has upended the political landscape and set the stage for a bitter fall campaign. Oh Dear!

All the 'Good Ol' Boys' of 'God's Own Party' will have to bend over and take it where the sun don't shine!

PMSL at what was the obvious outcome given the utterly lamentable quality of the other candidates.

Will he beat Clinton, or will she be in jail?

    Who knows, WTF cares?

The US have made an utter bollocks of their ridiculous selection process but will they change it, of course not!

I can't wait for the final fight in Cleveland!

    Trump likes it.

    Dozens flirted with it.

    Trump bests them all.

    lol.

Trump appears to be far too honest for his own good, while Clinton has no idea of the meaning of honesty.

    @ 5 Briton

Whatever happens on the 23rd June, it will make no difference!

Camoron will have to survive BORIS!

Boris has made Camoron look like a liar, a panic merchant and someone not to be trusted.

But we both know that already.

Don't necessarily agree with much of Boris's politics but he's infinitely more credible than camoron.

I'm tired of my only choice for US president being a like long politician that has been elected and reelected over and over again, and now it is his “turn” to be president. I can't stand the Clintons and worry about the Donald, but in this election I'm going to vote for Trump. With Trump there is going to be hell toupee.

Cameron is being urged to say,
that Gibraltar and the Falkland's will be protected regardless of the outcome,

some say its disgraceful for the government to spread such disgusting rubbish as it just encourages deluded countries like Spain and Argentina to think they have a chance,

come on David, you can stop this offensive rubbish being spouted.

    @ Chris R

    I'm fine, thanks for asking.

    @14

Hey Hepatia, if The Donald becomes Prez, do you reckon he'll shift your capital to Las Vegas? I think DC might be a bit...staid for him. Not enough glitter...

Ever since Nixon the GOP has been the party of WASP privilege. Nothing makes this more plain than Trump's nomination. And nothing highlights this more than his response to the court cases that are the result of his “Trump University”:
