Macri wants to make friends with the U.K., making it easier for the islanders to exploit natural resources while getting nothing in return.
The move is infuriating many in Argentina, including some allies in the Cambiemos front.
To top it all, Macri's blunder about supposedly PM May's will to negotiate the Malvinas has shown unbelievable amateurishness.
It's now clear why many here were singing Macri's praise--he is the best bet for the islanders.
    Not so much in Argentina.

    That makes no sense.

Argentina does not own resources within a neighbour's internationally recognised EEZ, and an Argentine President does not have an agenda to sell out Argentina to 3,000 Islanders based on less than 2 minutes of cordial small-talk
